Roll Call February 2018

Recommended Posts

For February's roll call, we are all asked the question "Which game (board, computer, console, etc...) is your current favorite?"

As always you'll earn 5 points for signing in and 5 more for answering the question.

For myself, I'd have to say my newest game, Dragonball Fighter Z, would be my current favorite...  Pokemon Go would probably be a close second though.

The only game I play with any regularity is Criminal Case on Facebook.

I used to be less lame, i promise.

Thanks Nikon, now I don't have to think of two questions this month (one was hard enough already...).

Favorite game is a hard one. For computer, it depends on wheter I just played League of Legends or not. If I haven't, it's that game, if I have I'm typically fed up with the attitude of the average person and I go for Civilization VI instead.

Also, I'm going to play Dungeons and Dragons for the first time just this evening (excluding a session to make a character), and I am really looking forward to it.

I am here.

Favorite game at the moment is Oblivion on the Xbox 360. I've got myself a female Orc fighter and she's awesome.

Interestingly, my son and I are thinking of making a board game. We used to design games when he was little, just for the fun of it, and to work on various skills. Now, he's a bit older (14, how is he that old?), and it seems like a fun project.

Here!

Probably my favorite current game I'm still playing is Horizon: Zero Dawn. Great story, great gameplay.

I'm here. I mostly just play Castle Age on Facebook (I have a pretty decent cleric), and Game of Stones online, a free WoT-themed browser game that I'd be happy to teach anyone to play if they're interested. There used to be a huge player base with a very large guild from Dragonmount, but I think there are probably only about 50 players now.

I've been playing a lot of the facebook game Game of Thrones Ascent or minecraft with my daughter.

I've also been playing D&D and an assortment of board and card games but there is one card game is Star Realms, the build-a-deck game.

oh yeah and also here!

Man that's a tough question. So many good choices.

I'm gonna have to go with a board game I made a few years back called Puzzle Trolls.

Here, not sure, maybe League of Legends, or DOTA, or even World of Tanks..

Can you be a dear and help the staff out by posting in this thread to ask Verb to change your name back to whatever it is supposed to be? (Mirdraal, maybe?)

Because I am pretty sure tallying up the roll call points is going to give Niniel a headache if she ends up having to do it this month.

Any of the Dragon Age games! I love them and never get bored, no matter how many times I've played them.

Aye, I'm here!

As for favorite games, I've been enjoying West of Loathing lately, and just finished (again) The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. In the less digital stuff, I love Magic The Gathering probably a little too much!

Present.

Not currently partaking of any new games. Some old favourite ones would be Fable 2 on x360, any Lego video game (Marvel 2 latest), Risk, Axis & Allies, Scrabble. This could go on for a while. Stopping there.

    • I'm so glad there's at least some progress for you, hon!   My ex, who's currently living in Tallahassee, sends his regards. They seem to be back to normal there.
    • You mean during WW1 and 2 where we had concentration camps for Japanese US Citizens? That has nothing to do with criminalizing languages that weren't English and everything to do with us being at war with them. A really damn big war.   You find me something like this that A) isnt from over 100 years ago and B) isn't from the same time period where we jailed US citizens based on nationality, still didn't allow black people or women to vote and weren't at War with half the world, then you will have a point.   As is? That's an out of date example based on a world changing event. Other countries with official languages didn't do that, so why does America with no official language doing that prove that having an official language will cause it to happen? Simply, it doesn't.   The precedent argument is ridiculous. You can't set precedent for criminalizing something by making one thing required. They are two independent things and by your own examples, we don't need to have an official language to criminalize other languages. Your own examples showed them to be independent of each other.
    • PLEASE READ   It is now LYLO! There will be no more trials. You are still voting to elect an accuser!   Whoever is elected as accuser will select the person to be lynched and they will be flipped without a trial.   ALL VOTES ARE LOCKED! DAY WILL END IF A MAJORITY IS ACHIEVED!   It is now Day 5! You may now post!
    • The foxy ex-intern walks briefly into the breakroom to put a sign in front of the courthouse door before fading from sight.   The sign reads,   COURTHOUSE CLOSED FOR HOLIDAYS. THANK YOU FOR YOUR BUSINESS!   Looks like this is in your hands now...
