Saw The Internship yesterday. It was pretty much what you'd expect except slightly more heartwarming than expected at times. Solid comedy.

One thing I have to note though which didn't really impact my enjoyment of the film was some bad editing. It was painfully obvious when they'd edited clips of different takes together to make a scene at times.

Watched Man of Steel last night.

IT was good, but I think It COULD have been better.

My one fear for the movie, was that the narrator overtone of the trailers would be just as heavy handed in the movie.

The movie almost felt abstract, and less character driven, and more narrative/action orientated. Hell, I almost wish the movie was 4 hours long, just to better balance the story/plot/ect with the action.

The action scenes, got a bit sloppy to. They did a lousy job of going from CG, back to "real people". Kind of like how they did a crap job of that in the Matrix 2.

I saw This Is The End

I wanted to like it, I tried, but I didn't

It had a lot of great moments but the movie also dragged more than once and was way over the top

Probably would make a good friday night rental but would not recommend seeing it in theaters

Gah, I had high hopes for that as a comedy.. Was the bit with emma Watson at least hilarious?

Nah. She was in it for 5mins then disappeared for half the movie then came back for another 5 mins and then left again.

The only funny thing involving her was a line someone says it went something like "**** we got robbed by hermione" or some such.

Just saw "The Internship". It was okay as a comedy, but I only wanted to see it because of the main actors and the fact that google was part of it :D Like I said, it was okay, most of the humour was very current but there were no moments really were I was laughing so hard there were tears in my eyes. None of that, but plenty of chuckles. Definitely going to torrent that :D

Exaggeration, but it is definitely up there.  The soundtrack is the best I have heard in a long time, and maybe its just because i want my own dragon.

Velvet Goldmine.  was made in 1998, has a lot of good actors in it that made it big after the film and was ... interesting.

Oblivion:

When did Tom Cruise start to get on my nerves.  Outside of that, which is minor, the movie was entertaining.  Predictable but entertaining.

Now You See Me:

Same review actually.  The movie moves so fast that there is hardly any character development.  But I was entertained even if I figured out the twist really early.
