Honestly Leelou, I've alway hard more success reading you outside of your interactions with Verb.

 

 

 

I always enjoy playing games with you - maybe because I don't rely on on Leelou/Vern meta but mostly because you can be a real challenge and you bring a different perspective to games. I hope you don't let this meta situation drive you away from playing (not that I'm a heavy player or my opinion really matters).

ok so i get the idea that you feel like you NEED to act a certain way in games because of perception. My example would be how i read Zander. As scum I feel I HAVE to town read him early and that i cant get away with pushing a mislynch on him.

 

But if you dont like that fact then you can try to change your play, For example lets say i do not town read zander til D3 as any alignment. I will probably get mislynched a bunch of times but EVENTUALLY people will realize they cant use that fact.

 

Now I am DEFINETLY one who uses your interaCTIONS to help read you. I try reading ure individual content but then look at that as a back up/second opinion. Why do I do that?? Because it WORKS.

 

if it didnt work it wouldnt get done. You had that one game recently where it didnt work and you won so you CAN change it and trick people. if youre able to do it consistently then that meta dies.

Please keep in mind that being a villager and trying to make accurate reads is not necessarily easy and using tools like "player x usually attempts to read player y with this methodology" is just a tool in order to find some footing in a game where you are otherwise blind.

 

I get that it can be frustrating to feel like you have to meet the unrealistic expectations of others - especially when you are low on time, stressed, etc. - but it's also something very hard to ignore from the pov of someone desperately trying to make sense of what is at heart an educated guessing game. If this is referencing a particular situation I'm ignorant of I apologize, but I would say this is pretty typical of a lot of players here. IE if I'm playing with Tina I'm paying a lot of attention to how she reads Verbal or if I'm playing with BFG I'm paying a lot of attention to how she reads dice, besie & zander, lots of examples. For me they have always been less [personal and demanding] and more a willful reach to collect information to improve a guess.

You're pretty much right - I don't think this was a specific situation that irked her.....just general frustration.
