I'm in. I hope it doesn't start in the next 10 days...., If it does I'll be somewhat quiet in the beginning so apologizes beforehand. I'm just still between finals. With emphasis of still.

The full moon was hanging low in an overcast sky, a bright red circle engulfed it. A blood moon, a sign of ill times and forboading unease; a symbol for plots and plans of destruction. The humidity of the summer air was thick even at night, and in the distance thunder rumbled as a late night thunderstorm made its way across the land. The figure in the room looked at the Moon through his window as rain began to tap against the window; he was in a poorly lit room, most of the light a harsh glare comming from the computer moniter sitting infront of him.

 

The desk was littered with books, and papers of various sorts we're stacked haphazerdously across its entirety. Celephane wrappers of long eaten little debbies, empty Dorito bags and crushed cans of Mountain Dew were present as well, to mark the long occupation of this fruitful endeavor. The shadowy figure leaned back in his chair and watched the computer screen intently, waiting for the person on the other end of the chat box to respond. Thunder omniously boomed in the background as the message box blinked into life.

 

"Are you sure the codes are correct?"

 

The shadow figure gave a snort of diresion as he typed his reponse. "Ofcourse they are, it was actually rather easy; all things considered."

 

"All things considered?"

 

"Yeah, considering Jason just upgraded the serves and the dataload the site currently handles."

 

"Oh, yeah that; and you're sure he wont be able to track the activity?"

 

"Trust me, it's like I was never there; I wasn't stupid enough to do this under my real handle, and it was simple enough to make a ghost handle. After all, being an Admin allows for certain priveleages that come in handy to this endeavor. Besides, he didn't exactly make it hard; though the codes do hold a certain irony to them."

 

"Irony?"

 

"Yeah, they all have to do with 'the Sword of Truth' series."

 

"Are you kidding me?! But thats ... thats like commiting blasphemy!"

 

"Afriad not, to be honest I find the irony rather humorours."

 

"Well you always did have an odd sense of humor."

 

"Touche. Anyways, did you get in touch with the others?"

 

"Yeah, they're all on board; they want to meet though."

 

"Thats understandable, find out what times convenient for all of them and we'll meet on MSN to discuss details."

 

"No, they want to meet In Real Life. We all agree that just taking the server from Jason and Jenn over the Net isn't enough, we want the psyical hardware."

 

"Interesting. What about those who are overseas; its geographically impossible for them to be phsycially at any meeting."

 

"Already taken care of, they're booking flights to come State-side as we're havign this conversation. So how about it?"

 

"Sure, send me the date and time and I'll be there."

 

"Alright, you'll be hearing from me within the week, expect an email. One last thing ... are you sure Jason and Jenn don't suspect anything?"

 

"Positive. I told you, being an Admin means I'd know if they suspected something. This'll be like taking candy from a baby."

 

"Good enough, I'll be in touch."

 

 

Without a further word the party on the other end blinked offline and tha shadowy figure grinned in a self satisfied way. 'Like taking candy form a baby indeed.' Exiting out of MSN, he resumed his play on Minecraft and lightening illuminated the dark sky outside.

Wow, I don't think I've played with you since my first game, Nyn! All these people I don't know coming in; it'll be hard to figure out who they are.

I'm so frikkin bummed out. An alt-account game, the one that will be counted first in the mafia scoreboard, and I miss out?
