I understand yall might think it was too soon, but were I to wait till I was closer to being lynched everyone wouldve just said that it was me being desperate or something. I also didn't have time to breadcrumb, and there's a good possibility some might have lynched me anyways just to get a controlled lynch instead of a random one.

 

Once again, I only have myself to blame for receiving all this attention, but I promise you town WILL lose an investigative role if you lynch me. Despite my shoddy play up to this point I am still valuable in any scumhunt. Lynching me now is somewhat foolhardy, now that I've claimed I'm sure someone can come up with a way to vet me.

I know that Rey has his own game to think about but he told us he would do a reread and hasn´t been back after that. Blackhoof - I know how much you hate getting in trouble on day 1 but you can´t just stay quiet like this. Is it fun to play that way?

 

I still think Maw is very scummy but I don´t think we can hold his defense of Des as a newbie against him. Why would he make it up if he didn´t believe it?

 

Sakaea - I find it remarkable that you don´t unvote Des after his reveal. A watcher is a good role to have around and we will learn eventually if he is lying or not. Big FOS.

Just thinking out loud here. Say we switch from Des to Maw, Maw then undoubtedly claims another good role. It's day 1 so no one has had a chance to view anyone. Then we would be asking who do we believe? Des, cause he claimed first? Maw cause he held out until there was more pressure on him? Pick a third person? Personally they both have posted things that lead to them being mafia villains (sorry Red). At the moment Des still sticks out a little more. Hopefully we will get more opinions over the weekend.

On the Pants thing. He has acted weird the entire game. He could well be a villain, maybe the Joker and he is acting in character. The big problem about him is that now that he has been twapped by the Overlord, He can't post to explain anything at risk of being MK'd. On the flip side of that tho is you could say it is a tactic. I just think he is wacky. I am of course willing to listen to those more experienced.

I think that the watcher reveal wasn't all that premature but his idea that we should come up with a way to vet him does ping as the only way for him to get vetted would involve getting information about other people out into the open.

 

I don't want to lynch a claimed role on the first day when we have other options. At the very least we'll have a strong suspect to go on the next day and to be honest it seems like we won't get much more out by pressuring. Time to look at someone else then

F.O.S. Doesn't get much more scummy on day one than this:

 

1)You spend most of Day One joking and not really contributing.

2)You then jump on Des's bandwagon. It's not the vote that is suspicious, but how it's made. Yes, Des is worthy of a vote here (in my opinion), but you jump on mindlessly, not unlike how a scum would jump on a growing Townie's bandwagon.

3)Edits. I don't really see those as all that scummy but still worthy of mention.

 

So I was thinking of holding back, and hoping others would excuse my slightly shoddy play and not start jumping on my bandwagon, but I don't think this will be the case. Then I thought about breadcrumbing, but honestly I don't think there's enough time and I doubt that would even help me at this point. So I'll just come out and say it. I'm the Watcher. I can go into further detail about my role if anyone wants me to, but let's suffice it to say that I can be very useful to town.

I'm sorry for playing a bit sloppy like I mentioned, if I do end up getting lynched still I only have myself to blame in this game.

FoS. Is an excuse to avoid being FoSed. Townies have nothing to hide. As a Townie, activity equals beneficial, as scum not. A Townie being lynched Day 1 is acceptable, for scum not so much. (for their respective teams of course)

Ok, I originally voted Des because of the no-vote thing and a few other reasons that I'm too tired and have too big of a headache to think of right now. Since then he has proceeded to act in ways that are scummy. *Sigh* and as if to prove how much my head hurts right now I can't even remember specific examples of what I just read, just that it made me suspicious of Des and confirmed my current vote. And it seems that people agree with me... :P

 

However, I knew that Des was an experienced mafia player before this, and find it odd that Mawth would think he was a newbie... <.< watching him.

Think that's all of them...[/long list] Aiel Heart is the least suspicious of them. Despo is too risky. Pants can't defend himself. Blackhoof and Sakaea don't have any votes on them. Nolder's only vote is mine. This leaves Leelou, Poetstorm, and Maw, of which Maw is the only one with more than 1 vote. So, for the sake of consolidation, my Vote goes to Maw. That puts him at 5, where we would still need 6 more votes. Not really enough time to go anywhere else.

It would be fairly stupid to do so so early in the game. Just mentioning that we did not currently have anything to go against Des' claims. So, I wasn't sure anymore if I wanted to go forward with a lynch based on that reveal. And I don't think I'm the only one having second thoughts. I'm certainly not the first to voice concerns on that.

The no lynch was meant to kind of enflame people. I've seen that apparently that's what no lynch votes seem to do here on DM. I thought we might need something crucial to get us out of that huge joke vote thing (which I helped to propagate I know)

 

Perhaps it's a newb scumtell, me complaining about never being mafia, but it's true. I've been FOS'd in every game I've been in so far, and have yet to be mafia. I just wish there was a justifiable reason other than apparently my playstyle seems to rub others the wrong way. I could just start posting way less and follow the crowd more often, but that's just not my style.

this is probly sticking my head straight into a noose, but i feel the need to protect Turin and Des. I don't think either have played before, beyond a little joke game we had here at the BT. Turin probly thought that his vote was just a normal extension of an FoS, especially with the joke votes flying around in this game so far. Just his bad luck he chose the time when we started actually looking for scum. Des is just inexperienced and reckless in general, but if he keeps this up i might be persuaded to go after him.

It was an impromptu game that got started after a great amount of joking and teaching of us non-players in the BT. The thread is WoT on the main BT board. It was my first experience in playing. I do not know if it would be considered a real game or not.

 

It was just supposed to be a SPAM thread, Ed joke voted Des and it took off from there. Eventually Talmanes set up roles for everyone that was fooling around on the thread and took the duties of modding the game. He may not consider it a real game, but he was mafia.

I approved at the meesh vote at the time because of the double unvote of her and des within a minute of eachother. I happen to know Des haunts these boards all day, so it would make sense for him to follow up quickly. Basically it boils down to a minor FoS on meesh for starting the trend and nothing better to look at at the time.

 

I thought Des was a noob and I was going to give him a pass for d1 and see if he screwed up again on d2. That pass has been revoked, and looked at in the light of a veteran (or at least regular) mafia player his actions ping all over the place. I don't feel the need to re-iterate the case on Des, because its been posted all over the place over the last page or so.

@Ama: Turin already explained this, but no I didn't really look at that improv game as if it were a true mafia game. No one on the mafia team was taking it seriously really, And the game ended after 2 days lol. It was still a lot of fun tho, joke mafia or not

 

Honestly, most that have voted for me have had very good reasons to do so, so I won't OMGUS them, but a couple might just be jumping on an easy bandwagon by voting on me. Just going on a hunch here, I'll Vote Pants.
