Go to https://imgur.com

 

In the top right corner click sign up

 

Follow directions to create a profile

 

Once your profile is created and you're back to the main screen, hover over your name in the top right corner

 

Click on Images

 

In the top right hand of the screen click Add Images

 

Select an image from your computer

 

Once it uploads, click on the image now on the screen

 

Click copy next to where it says BBC Code (message boards & forums)

 

Paste that text here

From your phone, download the IMGUR app

 

Sign up

 

When you've signed up and are on the main screen, click on the little camera at the bottom of the screen (I'm assuming you have an android phone)

 

Select the image you want to upload

 

Click next in the top right corner

 

Make a caption

 

Click post in the top right corner

 

Once it finishes uploading click view in the top right corner

 

Click the share button in the bottom right corner that looks like of like <

 

Copy the link (on my phone it says "Copy to Clipboard")

 

Come back to DM, paste the link into a comment

 

It will include your caption and the web address, delete your caption and put image tags on either end of the web address

 

Image tags are: [ img] [ /img] without the spaces between the brackets
