People I wouldn't really consider lynching TODAY are Alanna, Sooh. And to a lesser extent, Tina, Tress. And Clov/dice cause I am still pretty undecided about them and need more time. I wouldn't be SUPER surprised if I have one wolf in this bunch, but it's not something I'm going to dwell on today.

 

That leaves Hallia, Wifi, Ironeyes, Talamanes, Kat and you. Though of the bunch you seemed the most hands on and you've sounded more or less okay, so you get some credit for it. But because you've only now managed to get involved and I'm not going to have the time to feel you out properly... I don't feel comfortable moving you away from this lot. If that makes sense.

 

Hallia seems the most likely scum in this group, imo. Ironeyes started okay and went quiet when he was getting a little attention. Not sure if I believe that one vote and some questions in his general direction would spook him, but the fact that deadline is approaching and he hasn't shown up is not a great sign. Wifi is pinging some but she pings as town too so it's just really hard to tell, but I do feel like she's being less inquisitive than I've come to expect her. Talamanes and Kat just haven't been involved. Kat's entrance to the game... i could take it or leave it. Same with Talamanes. It's not like they've done anything that specifically pinged me. I just have no time to assess them and observe them properly which means that they're in the PoE for today.

Other game is over for me, so I will have an easier time being involved - but playing IRL D&D at this exact moment. 

 

 

This weekend was too busy.  I'll be here tomorrow and back to my regular self.  I'm fried after a busy weekend and hammering out an essay and a midterm.

This actually makes me feel better about you. One thing I remember from playing with you is that you try to pocket me when you are scum. And, I got that feeling earlier in the day. And, in some of the following posts. But, I think this is fair assessment.

I have half the nerve to say that no scum would forget there's a confirmed town in the game but you're Clov and you could easily play that angle.

We're allowed to unvote in this game, right? The way I read the rules makes it seem like it's allowed, but not necessary. And joke votes shouldn't stay on someone for more than one vote count cause that's just dumb. 

 

Again, I don't take this as scummy, I take this as Ironeyes not having played in forever.

Before I read more I just want to comment on these posts. I thought I already had but it seems like I didn´t made a good job of explaining myself.

 

I read Nyn´s intro post as she was town. I thought all townies would see it and that is why I was suspicous of those voting her. But... the townie pm is in the intro so all that gave me was embarresment for not reading it. So basically, I regret everything I wrote. :D 

 

Niniel: because she's my only scum read ; she seemed to have taken the joke votes too seriously for someone who has played mafia for a while (longer than me); going after people for their vote on nyn but not their vote on dice.  could be:

 

1. trying to make people think that she is protecting nyn by going after the people that are voting her thereby getting a ML

 

or

 

2. she is distancing herself from dice, her partner...I know I gave him slightly townie....but I was on the balance beam with that call so went with town for now...hence the disclaimer..

The more I think about the whole Niniel situation the more I tend to think that her stubbornness regarding me might be a town sign. 

 

Agreed that Hallia seems to be not very involved, and I guess the same goes for Wifi, but they are both in another game at the moment I believe, so I will try to keep that in mind. I do hope they will prioritize this game tomorrow before EOD though.

 

I was pretty underwhelmed with her reason for thinking me a good vote option. She hasnt even commented on my vote of her.. Does that impact ure stubborness thought?

I think it's a dumb reason to clear me, or anyone else for that matter. A VT sample PM is either posted in the game's OP or just given to the scum team. Otherwise the game could easily be broken. 

 

This really shouldn't be a main talking point.

TBH, Clovr, I'd vote you. Niniel and Wifi are pinging me extremely faintly for posting once or twice and vanishing again, but your rush to put the pressure on and move the game immediately from "day one lighthearted" to serious whispers scum trying to earn some early towncred by appearing proactive. But even though you're technically on top of my suspect list I don't want to place a serious vote until later, when I have more info.

Who I'd vote right now? I don't have anything concrete. I did sorta raise my eyebrow at Tina questioning dice and Chris on their vote on me, when I feel like it was fairly obvious those were joke votes. And of course the obvious question that comes to my mind is why didn't she question mine and Halli's votes on dice. They were also obvious joke votes, imo... but if she legitimately is unable to tell the difference (which I question) I'd expect her to inquire on those too. Then again.... if she's liking me so far, I guess it makes sense for her to take interest on the votes on me specifically. So a bit of eyebrow raising with a sprinkle of ???. Nothing concrete.

My morning routine consists of a lot of staring at the computer screen waiting for caffeine to work its way into my system and produce some semblance of coherent thought...  followed by about half an hour of frantic action trying to get ready for work and then breaking the speed limit to get to my desk on time.

 

I'm about to hit that frantic half-hour, and I don't remember how much is on my calendar for today once I get to the office.  I should be around a bit here and there before deadline and will try to read up on the game whenever I get a couple of minutes, if the data signal in my building doesn't suck today.

 

I think I feel best about voting Marsh at this point, pending further posts from Hallia and a chance to process them.
