@Wildfire: The "interesting" was supposed to be unclear; it's a word that implies a whole lot but actually means nothing, which allows you to use it without actually thinking anything about it.

There wasn't really much tone to get from it, considering it was written. I meant it non-serious but in a way it could also be read serious, leaving it up to the other players to decide wheter to ignore it as being a joke or comment on it as being serious, and then to go from there.

We'd disagree about tone but that's not here nor there.

 

So what did you gather from it then?

 

 

Well, everyone's talking about stuff now, so I'm fine with how it turned out. Don't really have any reads yet, but I'm never that fast on reads. I prefer having more information, both in having more posts and having had a night phase with events.

Okay that's actually not quite true. I did figure that maybe the comment about third parties might get some stuff going as a bonus.

 

Here he is reframing his response.  He is saying it was NOT all a joke.  That there was some seriousness in there to get the ball rolling, so to speak.

What I was saying is that the way it came across was a little forced because it was several pages and posts in compared to if she did it in her OP.

 

Is that nitpicking? Probably but I also don't think it's a terrible observation for 7-8 pages of content that was mostly fluff.

It's not a bad thing, I'm just noting her defense, and how I disagree with it, and at the same time looking at Kat's "Oh, never mind, you're right" in response when Hallia defends herself against her suspicions. 

 

Some are on the offensive, some are on the defensive. It could be meaningful later on.

I didn't mean it to sound as rough as it did...it wasn't supposed to post when it did..    I used to just say stuff in the rough the first time around even with rewriting.  

 

That's why it takes me so long to post stuff. I rewrote my posts like 3-5 times before I actually posted them.

 

Even before I started editing them. Now I try to edit my emotions. and my run on sentences. 

 

Sometimes I forget that there are people from all over the world in DM.   even when you have it under your avatar.

I like that Hallia is being on the offensive the way she is. That to me is a good sign for her. 

Kat's mild backtracking is noteworthy. Other than that I have no great leads on people. I just have made a lot of noise this game. 

 

You'll be rid of my noise for most of tomorrow though, since we're doing paperwork things for my husband. So much to fix when you move to a new country! Phew!

Sooh admitting you're wrong isn't the same as back tracking. I wasn't pushing a case I was pointing out something I thought was a fact. It was wrong. I said as much.
