I was trying to keep from getting a bullet in the back.  Ya know tone it down a little bit...stay under the radar so I can do good.  Of course I started out on the wrong foot right from the beginning so I had to keep defending myself and then I kept opening mouth and inserting foot.

Oh this is so confuseding.....it seems like once you open mouth and insert foot, there is no redemption....and yes I made up that word...I tend to do that....I also made up the word Ni-ephew....cause there is no non generic word for niece/nephew...and my sister and brother-in-law did not want to know what their two kids were gonna be before they were born...but they allowed my mom and her 3 sisters [and yes I am one of them] to know.  However we couldn't tell a soul.  So you see my dilemma and why I created the word....I wanted to tell everyone I was expecting a Ni-ephew.... LOL

generally prs try not to claim unless they really need to. Doing things like saying "you really dont want to lynch me" for example can just paint a target on your back.

 

Often the only way you will see a pr claim before late game is if they are getting run up and even then they should wait til approx L - 2.

I'm going to try to do some rereading if I'm slow at work tomorrow, but for now a few comments/thoughts.

 

@Lily - I checked the time stamps and you saying you were thinking about voting then voting were an hour and a half apart. Still pretty quick all thongs considered. You did preface you were planning on voting but it still seemed a bit odd considering how much time was left and the fact that the DL wasn't hapoenig for another day.

 

I'm glad to know my feeling about AJ after the lynch panned out. I'm not totally off my groove it seems. It's worth noting that AJ tried to non conspicuously get the lynch going and then Lily came with the (IMO) too quick lynch. I'm weighting that with the fact many others were in the train as well.

 

For WiFi, I'm inclined to believe she is Town (even besides the claim which makes. a lot of sense) because some of the newbie things she has posted very much make me doubt she's scum. I'm sure someone could pull that off, but the vehement argument that she was not cheating (seeming to not fully know about QTs and how they work) seemed very real to me as well.

 

I'll note as well that besides my initial dislike of Dice immediately clearing Zander he hasn't done anything else to make me suspicious. I don't know that I'm really onboard the Kat train at this point either though. I remember not getting a good vibe from Luthine at first as well and then feeling a bit better. I'll be looking at these two especially since they seem likely lynch targets.

I suspected as much given your vocal "AJ is scum" post and the fact that you'd softclaimed a bit earlier, and well done on taking out AJ, good instincts there, but yeah it is unfortunate that you decided to claim as it paints a target on your back.

It took some time to read 49 pages. I´m happy that it´s a small game.

 

My idea right now is to find AJ´s companion(s) so we can eliminate one NK. Mafia seemed to be mostly interested in removing town.

I believe Wifi´s clainm. AJ went after Lily and Talmanes in a way that makes me believe that they are not on AJ´s team. I know I´m not. Left is Lenlo, Dice, Luthine and Kat. AJ was very friendly with me and Dice. I don´t think he would townread Dice that clearly if they were on a team. Maybe not a good reason for removing him from the list but I rather look at the others first. AJ seemed to stay away from Kat/Wifi. He said that he wasn´t against a lynch on them but didn´t know where to start. Later on he started to talk about going after Kat. Not sure how I should take that.

 

Right now I´m mostly suspicious of Luthine. Will say why in my next post.

Other than that. Except for her going after Nyn early D1 she hasn´t actually gone her own way. She has mostly followed the crowed. One thing that I found strange on re-read was that she iso´d only a few people and all of them (Lily, Hallia and Wifi) ended up on her suspect list. It sounds like she had already made up her mind about the before the iso. Why not else only iso those and then come to the conclusion that all of them are mafia.

On mobile atm so no double quotes. I said in my posts that I didn't believe much in town reads in general and especially in a multiball game where people genuinely hunting for Mafia could be mafia themselves, case in point: AJ.

 

That's why I only posted about people I suspected or discussed people who had raised suspicions. It's true that I haven't been going my ~own way a lot yet but as you've said I haven't played in a while so observing for a while seemed a good idea. D1 you never have much to go on so yes I was "listening" as more experienced and vocal players talked about their suspicions. Doesn't mean I systematically followed in on their reads.

 

Also, if AJ was my teammate, why would have I followed him so very obviously? I know you don't know me but give me a little credit here, I wouldn't be quite that bad at hiding my tracks if I were mafia.

 

I find interesting that you were so willing to cast a vote so early on when rushing a vote gave us a dead townie on D1. Is it because of my joke about you being AJ's teammate, did I hit too close to home? Considering the fact that we're 3 townies down for 1 mafia killed I'd say it's very important we lynch a mafia today or the numbers really aren't in our favour...

I accounted for the multi ball setup. Hence saying they would be killing each other

 

6 scum would make up 50% of the roster, which pretty much puts town out of it potentially by D2, so I don't think that's likely. 4 would make most sense statistically, though maybe 5 could work. (Jungle Republic is 7/3/2 but only one team can NK).

 

We'll see - I only brought it up so its on everyone's mind. Having multiple wagons each phase should help a lot in the long run to differentiate between scum teams.

Aj seems to be feeling things out here. Like hes trying to see who has tmi, who the other wolves are.

 

In retrospect it's interesting that he dismissed out of hand the idea that the Mafia teams would take turns to NK, guess he knew better.

I'm working under the assumption that it has been a while since she played mafia, and I know with myself I would probably try to hold a low profile if I randed scum after a long absence. Her discussion with Nyn was anything but low profile, and that is why I lean town on her.

Ok so Wifi has claimed Town, does anyone else think that I'm still scum for trying to help her like we were in a QT together? Does anyone have a case on me besides that "scummy" not so tell? I have explained it several times and it's like no one seems to listen to my explanation. However, no one ever gives a better case about me than that and everyone has me in their bottom and I don't know how much  more Town I can be. I'm telling you I think Lenlo is scum. I have hardly had any time on here to post when we actually had stuff going on but I"m at the top of the list for trying to help a newbie? I do not get it still. I mean... If that's the only thing that ya'll can find ya'll are looking WAY too hard to find a reason to lynch me. 

 

So far I think Lily is still suspicious. Been reading back over some of Zander's ISO and he was sussing her and Luthine for a while but I'm still trying to go over it and I'm out of time at work. Honestly the only person he had sure cleared was Nyn..... 

 

Honestly i'm not sure what to think of Lenlo. I think part of me just wants him to be scum cause he keeps accusing me and apparently can't understand the premise that some people can be nice in mafia and not look for fights which makes it hard for town to win.... not naming any games like the one we just finished together where he argued with a town for the majority of the game and made himself look bad...

And I didnt argue with town last game. I argued with Sili. A single individual. And as it turns out, we were both wrong. So how bout you cool it there?

 

As to this, last game he was constantly accusing people of twisting his words. Here he's doing it to me. I never said that you weren't being nice , I said i was being nice and now i'm scummy because of it and that you are looking for fights. And you did argue with Sili who WAS A TOWN the ENTIRE GAME. Almost every day of the game there was some argument, granted it wasn't just you it was both of you, but you both just dug in the "he must be scum" thing and BOTH OF YOU WERE TOWN. Now this game I don't think you're town. I think you're trying to draw me into an argument to hurt town. You saw how it pulled people last game and if mafia had been on their toes we were goners for sure. However I'm not Sili and I'm sure not you. This is the end of my argument with you. I will answer questions about other stuff but this is going no where. I have to say I definitely get a totally different feel for you this game as opposed to last game and I think you're scum. 

 

 

And you ignored ALL of the rest of my post. Just like the other posts you've quoted... you look at once sentence and ignore the rest of it pulling exactly what you want to try to make me look bad. 

 

 

Now on to things... Hows this for a reason that Nyn could have been NK'd: 

 

 

ftr, my problem irt Sooh, is that while I'm well aware of her net issues... which have been going on for a long while (well before the game started).... I have a problem with what she chose to comment on when she was able to post. So it's not her low post count that bothered me. I also did not particularly like her sarcastic remark about being nice to noobs when she was called out on not delivering game related posts. 

 

Like, it's fine if it's a noob that doesn't have a mentor, but if someone has a mentor then they have someone to ask questions and consult with. And I wouldn't care for any player who spends most of their time being psuedo mentor on thread instead of scumhunting because I view it as a filler. I don't care if that makes me sound "unwelcoming" but the mentor system is there to be used. The occasional question on thread is fine, but I feel like for Sooh, who already had a low level of input, it was more important to pitch in on more significant things. Instead all I can remember her doing is talking about the issue I had with Luthine and then answering Wildfire. I think she only gave some reads after being prodded to.

 

 

As far as Lenlo goes... I guess we'll see. 

 

 

 

Here she is already suspicious of Len because of how she thought Sooh was scummy. She was also suspicious of Nini calling her "rigid" but it was something that she wasn't firm on at all. Nyn really didn't sus anyone else THAT hard. The only other ongoing issue was with Luthine but she didn't really suspect her she just "had her on ignore". 

 

 

Really my biggest suspicions right now after reading Nyn's ISO is Lenlo and Nini with a meeeehhhhhh on Luthine?

If that's the only thing that ya'll can find ya'll are looking WAY too hard to find a reason to lynch me. 

 

So far I think Lily is still suspicious. Been reading back over some of Zander's ISO and he was sussing her and Luthine for a while but I'm still trying to go over it and I'm out of time at work. Honestly the only person he had sure cleared was Nyn..... 

 

Honestly i'm not sure what to think of Lenlo. I think part of me just wants him to be scum cause he keeps accusing me and apparently can't understand the premise that some people can be nice in mafia and not look for fights which makes it hard for town to win.... not naming any games like the one we just finished together where he argued with a town for the majority of the game and made himself look bad... 

Im sorry, I cant what? Ive been rather pleasant this game, and when not aggravated by Sili was quite calm and affable last game. Are you saying I cant be nice while accusing you of being a wolf?

 

And I didnt argue with town last game. I argued with Sili. A single individual. And as it turns out, we were both wrong. So how bout you cool it there?

 

As to this, last game he was constantly accusing people of twisting his words. Here he's doing it to me. I never said that you weren't being nice , I said i was being nice and now i'm scummy because of it and that you are looking for fights. And you did argue with Sili who WAS A TOWN the ENTIRE GAME. Almost every day of the game there was some argument, granted it wasn't just you it was both of you, but you both just dug in the "he must be scum" thing and BOTH OF YOU WERE TOWN. Now this game I don't think you're town. I think you're trying to draw me into an argument to hurt town. You saw how it pulled people last game and if mafia had been on their toes we were goners for sure. However I'm not Sili and I'm sure not you. This is the end of my argument with you. I will answer questions about other stuff but this is going no where. I have to say I definitely get a totally different feel for you this game as opposed to last game and I think you're scum. 

 

First, I never said you were wolfy because you were nice. I also dont understand how saying "Kat I find you wolfy" is looking for a fight.

Second, what argument am I drawing you into? Theres no argument here, your making one up then attempting to take the high ground by dismissing it in the same post you made it up. Thats not a good look.

 

I dont understand where this idea im trying to get into an argument is coming from. You saw last game, this is not an argument. This is nothing like what happened with Sili. So why are you trying to make it like that?

 

That different feel your getting is me not being embroiled in a stupid argument with someone who will never admit he was wrong. This game there have been no arguments except the one your trying to create.

I'm going to try to do some rereading if I'm slow at work tomorrow, but for now a few comments/thoughts.

 

@Lily - I checked the time stamps and you saying you were thinking about voting then voting were an hour and a half apart. Still pretty quick all thongs considered. You did preface you were planning on voting but it still seemed a bit odd considering how much time was left and the fact that the DL wasn't hapoenig for another day.

 

I'm glad to know my feeling about AJ after the lynch panned out. I'm not totally off my groove it seems. It's worth noting that AJ tried to non conspicuously get the lynch going and then Lily came with the (IMO) too quick lynch. I'm weighting that with the fact many others were in the train as well.

 

For WiFi, I'm inclined to believe she is Town (even besides the claim which makes. a lot of sense) because some of the newbie things she has posted very much make me doubt she's scum. I'm sure someone could pull that off, but the vehement argument that she was not cheating (seeming to not fully know about QTs and how they work) seemed very real to me as well.

 

I'll note as well that besides my initial dislike of Dice immediately clearing Zander he hasn't done anything else to make me suspicious. I don't know that I'm really onboard the Kat train at this point either though. I remember not getting a good vi^be from Luthine at first as well and then feeling a bit better. I'll be looking at these two especially since they seem likely lynch targets.

Good morning. I don't know why, but I no longer think Kat and Wifi are on a team together. Wifi not understanding how a QT works is part of the reason. For now, I'm going back to Dice and his opportunistic vote
