Very good job, Dav!  Playing your first game ever as mafia can be very difficult, since you don't have a good feel yet for how to play as town so it's hard to fake being town.

Ah.  Well I'd love to hear any advice you might want to share.

Tress is really good. Mostly I was telling him about the claims people were making and a few ways to comment on that. When I first started I read through a couple of games and asked questions of those who had played in them. (Mainly Tress since she got me to join here). That helps because you get to see a fews ways to play. It gave me a starting point. Also, being active is key. It keeps the game moving. The hardest part is knowing what to say sometimes. But that comes with practice.

Ouch for town, GG to mafia. I suspected Len and would have voted Len, but BGs posts made me think that he was a 2shot tracker and had already checked Len therefore I threw my suspicion of Len out the window. I can't believe the last day happened so quickly while I was gone. Eff.

I had Lenlo found and it was very frustrating not being able to just point Cyan in that direction. Had thoughts about Davrick but not a clue for the 3rd mafia. I wonder why that was

Sorry to hear that Zanibar. As to your question about killing you it was mostly to cast more suspicion on LZM. So I just kinda picked one of the quieter people.

 

I hope you still followed the game and enjoyed reading how it went.

 

And BTW whoever pointed out the possibility. The question about who would you pick if mafia was trying to lead a little and put forth the idea that the mafia would not likely pick a jailer to be in the game. As you now know the deadline was missed due to inactive members early so that seemed the best way to keep LZM in check.

 

I think that all the new players did a good job in the game. It takes a while to get in there and really mix it up.

I fell for the jailer question.  Nicely done Turin.  I didn't know you could mislead people like that.  Maybe, I'm too gullible for this.  Well played game by mafia, but it was a diaster for the town.

The mafia's goal is to mislead the town into lynching other townies. It is the ONLY way they can win. They will try to use any means they can think of to lead the town astray. The game got a little strange for everyone when the mix of experienced and new players changed. especially since 2/3 of the mafia team ended up being experienced players. Kudos to Cyan for sniffing out Lenlo. It was very fortunate for us the the most experienced townie(BG) thought she was actually mafia. That may have been what actually got us the win.

Yes Zan, my apologies that your mentor was gone. If I had been able and find someone else to replace I maybe would have been able and put them in with you but all in all the game went fairly well and I hope that you will join us again =) Was it a fun experience?
