Why do you respect them? My own reasoning on her is a crock of dog excrement, and it isn't as if defending herself is a scumtell.

Say what?  Pandy is doing what a good innocent should do on Day 1, and what Mynd does (for those that know him) all the time.  It is difficult when multiple players do it, but only Pandy is doing it now.  And it's pro-town.  That would be trying to get conversation going, get people to post defensively, toss some votes around to gauge reactions.  In other words, beat the grass to startle the snakes.

Oh, I'm here! Sorry, I didn't even realize I hadn't made a game-related post. I never post much on Day 1 to begin with, so I hadn't even noticed ;D I have been following along, but nothing has really stood out to me. I did agree with...someone...who thought Min seemed a little defensive earlier. So I'll go with [glow=red,2,300]Min[/glow] over Pandy.

It wouldn't surprise me if Min and Pandy were innocent and those that aren't saying too much are mafia. Aust springs to mind. Saying they wouldn't vote, then putting his vote on Min straigh after that. TMD also springs to mind as being suspicious. For some reason Verb is making my back itch, lol.

 

So at the moment I'm not going to vote!

verbal, first i haven't played mafia with mynd but i'd love to.  god its been ages since i talked to him :)

 

second, pandy wasn't pinging my radar until he switched his vote.  i know that its a normal tactic to stir up the nest on the first day; normally petes the one doing it.  but he was going at her to begin with and then he just says "nm i didn't really think she was scum just wanted to see her reaction" and changes his vote after min already has the majority.

I'm not goping to be around for the last few hours, so will have to vote before I go to bed. There isn't too much choice. We do need a lynch today!

I guess I do often defend my sister. I hadn't noticed that. Real-life crossover, I suppose. I'm not defending her this time for one simple reason. Only two people have pinged my radar this game, Pandy and Min. Although at this point, I'm thinking they both may be innocent. I'm not sure what to think. The truth is that I have trouble seeing who is what with this many players. Once it dies down a bit, it gets easier. I guess that's true for all of us. So, I'm staying quiet and watching until I have something real to say. There are only so many ways to say "I dunno" before it gets redundant. If I was scum, I'd be happily encouraging the bandwagon on Min, rather than simply not discouraging it.

Well no one is pinging my radar significantly right now so that stinks.  I still think Min was overly defensive and we haven't gotten an actual reveal from her yet.  Also, Pandy seems town to me.  For now my vote stays on Min.

I'm tending to agree with you at this point, Wombat. Pandy isn't quite the obnoxious ass I'm used to when he is scum. (Love you, Pandy, just the way you are  :-*) But he's a good enough player to switch tactics from time to time. So, I don't know.

 

And, also, I don't think Min would be quite so okay with us lynching her and claiming to be not important if she was scum fighting for her life. I've seen her be scum fighting for her life, thanks to Ed  :P, and this seems more townish behavior to me.

 

But I don't really have any other suspects just yet.

Red, you're misunderstanding the fundamental concept of mafia. Scum want to lynch townies. They wouldn't back off a townie lynch if they thought they could get it through.

 

But Lily, Lily, Lily.... you first say that you think I'm scum, then you hesitate and say maybe I'm not. Come on, dear. You should know that you need to put your opinions on the table better than that.

There's a good chance I won't make it home tonight in time to vote, so I'm going to go with [glow=red,2,300]Min[/glow] partly to have lynch info if we can get a majority in the next 5 hours, but mostly to avoid being on the random lynch-for-not-voting list if we don't have a majority.
