I'll start.

 

I would like to compliment Loraine. She has always been available to me for advice on teaching, or just listening to me rant about how much my job sucks. She gets why I'm crazy. I adore her and I think you should as well.

Cleopatra Sedai has been great to me since I joined. She even made me a sig when I asked about where to get them. She blessed me and her mentee (Dark Haired Accepted - Kara) and never fussed about us bonding. She answers my questions and even let me vent once.

 

A lot of people in this org are great folks, but I wanted to give Cleo a special shout out.

I'd like to compliment Dwynwen, for being so warm hearted and welcoming when I just jumped into the Whites boards. She's made me feel at home and part of things in a very short time. Dwyn... YOU ROCK. *hugs*

I'd like to compliment Karana, who's kept the Browns such a rocking Ajah and made sure that the fun Aes Sedai have stayed around. *grins* She's also done a great job with the General Discussion board, which is no suprise given how well she worked for me back when! So yeah, go Karana! *waves*

I would like to compliment Taymist back! She's helped revive the White Ajah during a time when many of the older members had vanished. She's active, helpful, and very sweet.

Kath has always had my back, even when I was an annoying little Novice. Somehow she knows when I'm about to blow my top, whether it's in my LJ or here at DM, there's always a PM in my box, a comment in my LJ or some other little virtual hug or even volunteering to crack some heads together if I need her to.

 

She also somehow manages to keep her cool in one of the hardest professions in the world (even I would never touch middle school, love... props for that!) while she's handling the largest org at DM and not slaughtering people on the General Staff forums when they get retarded.

First, Dwyn, for being so helpful as a mentor. She's such a sweet and welcoming person, very tolerant of newbie questions, and always supportive. And besides, she's a crazy cat lady ;) What's not to like? I'm so glad Lor made me her mentee :)

 

Nynaeve, my awesome ajah head. She is silly and fun, yet also such a warm person. It's partially because of her that I kept going back to the yellows, when I was a novice. She's the sort of person you can go to with a problem, and you know that she will be there to listen to you. Also, she is quite the talented poet :D

 

Tigara, for being such a lovable little guy :D He is so active around here, and lots of fun to talk to (and I hope we get to do that more!). Go look at his raising thread...it speaks for itself.

 

Gentled Ben, for being an all-around cool guy. He can play and be silly with the yellows, but he is also clearly intelligent and enjoys having in-depth discussions about various topics. Also, I play the Game of Stones now, and it's all his fault :P

 

Finally, Cleo. I know her more from the old artists' org, and now the Illuminators, rather than from the Tower. She's an extremely talented artist, and her work is some of the first that I saw when I started browsing the net for WoT fan art. Then, I came to DM and found out that she's a really nice person, to boot. She's a great chapter house leader, and I am proud to be her second. :)

I would like to compliment Sir SoB! Every now and then I get online to find a "random PM of the day" in my inbox. These lovely little messages always manage to cheer me up, and every time we post a little back and forth, getting to know each other.

 

SoB is also (in my opinion) the most talented sig-maker in we have around here (which is saying something!).

 

He is kind, considerate and funny, and I really disklike that we're so far apart, because the stupid timezones mean we don't get to talk as much as I'd like.

I would like say something about Paet and Jhae! you guys rock, even when you threaten to force people to Bond me :P :D we have the funniest convoes ever and i'm very glad that you dont mind me intruding on your Newlybondedness :D

I would like to throw a compliment out there to Cleo to start, she is always there for me, calls me when I am down and makes my job as ajah head alot easier. She is a wonderful artist and helps me out in so many many ways.

 

Kelly, always active and fun to be around, helps keep the Greens and Ogier active and that's makes me very happy.

 

Arie, go getter to the extreme, she always lends a shoulder to cry on our a sounding block. She goes far above and beyond anything I ask of her.

Top honor goes to Jade. She has such a quiet loving nature under all that Green Commanding Presence. She listens to me when I rant, doesn't take it personal, give me her friendship on a real life, daily basis.

 

Taya, omg... such a treasure. I love that you are both silly and so warm. I was really honored that you accepted my bonding with you since I knew you didn't bond on a whim.

You are sorely missed when you are gone and I really, really wish we were much closer.

 

Kelly, I really don't know you as well as I do Jade, but you simply rock!

 

Arie: OMG you are so funny, silly, and squeeky. *lol* I looovve you!!

 

Zardi is one of the most capable people on our ACH and a top notch Second for damn sure. Your art is fab sweetie :D

Zardi is the kind of mentee I could brag about all day. She is smart, funny, and amazingly talented in so many areas. Besides, we cannot forget that she's a fellow cat lady!

 

Nia is the coolest sister a gal could ask for. She has always been there for me, even during the worst of times. She is so patient with me! She's also funny as heck. I can always count on being cheered up by her posts.

 

Mia is someone I didn't know as well before, but then I realized that if she likes Nia so much, she must be awesome! I have gotten to know her better over the last few months, and I am impressed by her poise, intelligence, and kindness. I am also astounded by her fund of knowledge about Harry Potter!

 

Charis was my very first mentee, and she was a joy to mentor. She can put up with so much and not let it crush her spirit. She is one of the strongest people I know, and she has a huge heart.

 

Pol was another one of my awesome mentees. She has matured so much and grown in confidence these past couple of years. She is such an adorable person, and I love every chance I get to talk to her.

 

Ben-T and I hit it off as soon as we met at Dragon*Con. He has come to be one of my closest friends here at DM. He always goes above and beyond the call of duty, and he's always there to talk to when I'm feeling angry or depressed. He's also brilliant and posts great things in discussions.

 

Jeran is hands down the funniest, wittiest person I have encountered on DM. He's smart and creative. He comes up with great ideas for the Ajah, and I've always had fun working with him.

 

Kathana is someone I did not know too well until Dragon*Con, but we had a blast together. It is so refreshing to see how truly silly she is in person. She is also wise and mature, whether she wants to admit it or not.

 

Seggie is hilarious! My body image is pretty low, but he's always there reminding me that I have great legs and a nice smile. He's so sweet and patient, and I had a great time with him at Con.

Thank you sweetie, that was lovely to hear and you're very special. Its been a delight having you with us here and at the Band :D and I love chatting on msn when yours doesn't play up lol I really hope we get to meet one of these days since you are probably closer to me than anyone else distance wise. You've been a friend since you very first arrived at DM and we've survived some ups and downs. You always make me laugh and you always have a sensible word to calm my fits of red headed temper. You're ideas and creativity amaze me and you're so active and committed with everything you take part in. Now we even think alike, so much it spooks us both lol.

I want to say something nice about Maria. Unless none of you had realised, she is one of my Best Friends and I love her to pieces. She's funny, caring and we have loads in common. When I'm feeling crap about stuff, a quick MSN or text chat will make me feel great again. Mia is very awesome.

 

Thanks so much Dwyn! Dwyn is one of the nicest people around. Seriously. She's kind, she's funny and she'll always be there for you when you need her. I am very glad to have her as my Sister!

 

Charis is just lovely. Seriously. She is one of the sweetest people around and she would do anything for anyone. As a Sitter, she puts her heart and soul ino the Ajah and does so much to help me, even though she had a busy RL. I really appreciate everything she does and I know the Ajah does too.

 

Jhaenara is just one of the funniest (and dirtiest) people I have ever met. Seeing a post from her being randomly smutty can make my day. She's also a brilliant sitter because she works hard to keep everyone posted and she always has interesting things to say (though some of these things may not be good for the Under 13's to see! *lol*). Jhae rox. Nuff Said!

 

Kia! Where would the Blue Ajah be without Kia? I'll tell you! Stuck on ezboard forking out money for our offsite boards and website. Kia runs the website and the offsite boards, fixes them when they break and keeps them ticking over. Mucho Love to her!

 

Kath wrote a story last summer which contained the word "flop" 400 times. It was hilariously and inexplicably funny. A bit like her. She's also good if you have a problem. Though don't tell anyone I said that ;)

Ah, thanks, Zardi! I would have to compliment you right back, as you're one of the easiest people I've met to talk with, and you can converse with equal ease on a variety of subjects. You also stand up for yourself and defend your position, but you're not so stubborn as to not see when you're wrong. Some of the book discussion forum threads come to mind, where you articulated and held to your positon, but slowly saw how another might have the right of it after all. That's a rare quality.

 

Dwynwen because she always seems genuinely interested in people, and everyone wants to feel like they're interesting. 8)

 

Taymist because she's so funny, and because she knows so much about history and isn't afraid to have a serious discussion about it in the middle of a spam thread. :D

 

Tigara because he's ...well, he's just Tigara! :P He has a good heart, and his questions and comments are fresh and honest.
