In case people want to get some clarification on my playstyle: firstly I'm town. Sometimes I comment to fish for reactions. Since I have a certain role, I'm trying to find hints for who else has roles that are relevant to me in the game.

And I do like to joke/troll to frustrate you guys

How did you get symp?

I've only played one game with a symp, but here's what I remember.

They cop as town (check)

They are not aware of their scum team and cannot win without them (check)

They need their team to recruit them to join them, and therefore need to somehow signal them in thread (check)

I think we're gonna disagree a few times this game - the problem I see is:

TBH despite a number of Dave's posts from now make me go he's still far more likely to be Town imo.

And if I'm wrong it'll become increasingly obvious later in the game with what I've seen thus far. Not lynching him today

the second ones of no concern today, and its more interesting that she didnt mention it than anything, but the first is simple. AJ looks like he is trying to maneuver and put himself in a good spot, and here he is conceding a townie in much the way that a chess player concedes a pawn every once and a while. That post is him saying "yeah this is town so give me points for SAYING it".

A little late in the game for joke votes when you've done nothing, wouldn't you say?

It's not a joke.

Been periodically poking my head in for a response. I was kind of hoping to hear this answer.

Because in the game that just ended on JN you were recruited cult D1 while I was a villager. You sussed me for saying I was willing to joke lynch Verbal, and you stuck to that pretty much all game. It didn't matter after a while because I got recruited cult D2, but you know from recent experience that I do this as villager: wolf!you tried to lynch me for it.

And while that game was wonky because everyone became cult eventually, I think if you felt you were on to something here you would have bothered to check and see what my alignment was at the time. I just checked yours. Took about 2 minutes.

It's reminiscent of when I strung you up in Star Wars for pushing Aiel Heart for something you had literally just seen her do as town in the previous game.

John Snow has a point - I did notice that as well.

He's rusty, and he didn't play that much here when he was around, anyway. I think a rookie mistake like that is entirely plausible, yes. I noticed it, so I'm not docking points from JS for noticing it as well. If he was mafia, why would he call attention to a player he's painting as a symp? Think on that, dude.

This is mostly a gut feeling list, based on some interesting theories I'm not prepared to share at this time because I don't think it's in town's best interest, plus a decent helping of meta for my townies and process of elimination. I may be able to explain some of these, I may totally be unable to either because I'm not willing to theorize on thread or because I did this off the top of my head. Categories are roughly ordered as best I could do in 10 minutes of thought. If and when these change in the future, I should be able to explain the changes, at least.

It's probably completely utterly worthless to most of you, but I expect at least one or two will find this post enlightening about where I'm coming from.

I'll try to keep current at work today and may run through some ISOs to determine my final decision - hoping for more to work from in the bottom half of the list. As of right now I'm heavily leaning toward voting Snow. We don't appear to be looking at the game the same way, and that makes me unsure we feel the same way about the demons.

@ Verb, Nolder, et al... I think I have explained about as much as I can for now, especially considering i am playing on my phone from work for the next 7+ hours and have actual work to get done. I am not voting yet and am hoping for more from the middle of the list.

Everything is changeable as more info is revealed but I have given a snapshot of where my head is at. I think a few people understand where I'm coming from here (Kaylee :wub: ). If you're not sure I'm town, it's all good. You will be eventually.
