Wombat plans to policy Lynch me. That's really cold lol.

You're too good at scum and too hard for me to read. Hence ---> baguette (that's how the cool kids say it, right?)

There's no question Ape would have been lynched that day regardless of Darthe's play. Anyone who thinks otherwise is deluding himself.

Honestly there was a moment I had to catch up on since I was asleep where I really wasn't sure. Call me deluded if you want. I think the fact that he wasn't insta-lynched is proof that town had doubts.

Mish and Kronos had doubts. Crusher's unvote was a joke.

Killing Turin is always a good start to a Game too

Possessed people did an admirable job :) Town just did better ... this time.

:spookydooky:

 Deaded even before Night1. Well there were no nights so go figure.

Town can all thank me for the victory. I contributed mightily in my 3 posts before being killed  Yay Me!!

My only real problem with trying to play this game was that it really was too big and too busy for me to keep up with. I simply do not have enough time to properly play a good mafia game which was as active as this one was.

Nol, it had no affect on how I voted. I just happened to check the thread and voted. I had planned on voting after dinner but had a moment.

So now I have to flirt with Tigs and Kay to get Mish voted. Pretty sure Mish will come up with a case on me, but let's see.

KAYLEE! Just wondering if you had seen this lol.

No I missed that lol. That's awesome.

Clearly it worked :P

Also loving the fact that the dead thread was all over me, the town was all over me, and yet I still managed to be the last scum standing? Sure I may not have had much a chance come the last day, but a better chance than all you dead folk...

Yeah, not trolling at all. Your a real ass lately, sup?

From my rereading of the thread, even without Darthe's play, I'm not convinced that town would have lynched Cloud over JohnMc. I think it could have gone either way, and we had yet to hear input from a number of the quieter townies.

We'll never know now, and it was completely stupid for Darthe to just tell the game he's scum too.

Nolder 's responses to wombat's filth from the dead thread are priceless. I love it.

Wombat's sole contribution to this game is a bad SMC impression in the dead thread, and a worse CTM impression in the post game. What a slap dick.

I think players who don't post a lot are often underrated. People assume that because they don't post frequently that they're not putting in effort. Some of my favorite players have been low volume posters. I'd rather read one analytical or insightful post than a whole page of some of the facile crap most players post.[/size]

You would say that. Disgusting.

Joking aside though your most analytically post that is DEAD ON and names everyone's roles with 100% accuracy doesn't mean a damn thing when no one is willing to give you any credit because you have less than 50 posts in a 100+ page game. Go ahead and scale that for smaller games but you get my point. Activity isn't just about spewing crap, which can happen regardless, it's about trying to signal your alignment to your allies.

And once again, Nolder... Bite me.

You're only mad at me because you know what I say about people who don't participate is true. You don't want to be the person bringing games down? Then stop doing it.

I've been trying to follow this game. Can someone explain m ethe game mechanics?

33 People start the game as town.

The first person to get voted a certain amount (I was never really clear on this part) had their alignment changed from town to mafia. That person was Ithi.

Every game phase (called Hours in this game) the town had 48 hours to lynch someone, after the first day a random (I think?) town also got an alignment view and another random town got a vig kill.

At the end of every phase the mafia could submit a kill which would occur during the next game phase and also recruit a player from the town.

Alignment views and mafia recruits were limited to 8 each.

I think that was pretty much everything.

I participate. I don't bring games down. Not happy with how I play? Tough. I've already quit mafia once because of you, and I've had multiple people ask me to come back and play.

If the moderator of a game sets out objective standards for acceptable activity and I don't think I can meet them, I don't sign up. But I don't alter my game to make you happy.

Playing with me isn't fun for you? Tough.

What would make a phase end? I've read something about being able to do several lynches per phase, but rule 1. seems to contradict that, also I didn't see it happening, or did it?

I participate.

No, you don't.

You were alive for the vast majority of this game, your postcount on the other hand is about 30 posts under the average (~77) which was low to begin with due to a lot of people lurking and a lot of people dying.

I don't bring games down.

You do when you don't participate.

Not happy with how I play?

No I'm very happy with how you play...when you play.

I've already quit mafia once because of you, and I've had multiple people ask me to come back and play.

Don't blame me for what you do. I haven't done anything to you. I even make a point not to have these kinds of conversations outside the context of a game most of the time because you get all huffy when someone calls you out for your own actions.

If the moderator of a game sets out objective standards for acceptable activity and I don't think I can meet them, I don't sign up. But I don't alter my game to make you happy.

Most people are far too nice to tell others what needs to be said. Peacesells sometimes breaks the mold but other than that everyone acts all hunky dory even when games need two, three, five, eight replacements. You think I'm exaggerating? We all know it happens and sometimes it happens bad. And those are just the people that flat out disappear. Your kind of activity is worse, in my opinion. You'll usually meet the bare minimum to keep a moderator happy (and let's be honest they probably can't find a replacement for you anyway after they've already replaced half their game), and meanwhile no one in the game is really trying to case or play because what's the point when there are no posts to case and everyone is lurking? Don't act like not being held accountable means what you do is ok. It's not.

Phases ended either after 48 hours or when a lynch occurred.
