Green Ajah Festival of Lights: New Year's Eve Dance

Greetings everyone, and hope that you had a happy holiday! Christmas is done, that means it's time to roll in the new year, and roll out the old one. It's time for a fun New Year's Eve bash! We have a fun disco room with a mirror ball, and later on we can adjourn to a stately ballroom. The champagne is on ice, and will be brought out as we get closer to midnight. This is a black-tie event, so men need a tuxedo to get past the bouncers.

 

 

 

The DJ will be spinning some danceable tunes in the disco, and we have a proper New Year's Eve band in the ballroom setting themselves up. *walks over to where Kathleen is standing, and holds out a flowery green corsage* I'd love to have the first dance to kick things off with a beautiful Green, if this lovely lady would be so kind.

*grumbles a bit about being forced to wear black to this event, when he would much rather wear a cooler color, but strolls in with a smile all the same--mainly because he's a dork and accessorized his tuxedo with a cape*

*She marvels at all the jewel-bright colours around her - all the Aes Sedai in their marvellous gowns. She looks down at her own gown. Novice-white, but at least the beautiful cut means that she canhold up her head among the beautiful, queenly figures filling the ballroom. Athena moves to stand next to one of the columns of the room, fidgeting slightly, longing to join in the dancing, but feeling out-of-place and alone.*
