Wow, uh, a lot happened.

Sorry I wasn't around this weekend. Back now though. Not that it matters lol.

FoS at Boopsy for the quick vote. If you had been gone all weekend, I'm sure you read to catch yourself up and yet you throw on the lynching vote anyway.

Also, nolder. It can sort of be confirmed if there is no report. I wouldn't count it 100% though until Hoof tells us.

wow, alot to catch up on

so from the N1 report we can guess this.

- our corner has a Banishment ability *see Min's report which said she was cornered then banished*

- we have a seperate banisher, they targetted Ishy which was sending major anti-town vibes (like that evil spirit one of Hoofs posts talked about) i'm thinking this banisher is town

- we have a NKer, possably a SK or Vig

- and we have 3 partys who can resurrect people.

i'd also like to point out that Maw was the first one to notice or make comment about Ishy's actions. so this could mean he's our 2nd banisher that doesn't use a corner report or give us one.

I don't feel like we should waste the coroner's report on her, because I don't think this lynch was strong and I really don't think Min is scum. But clearly there is some form of a majority thinking she is scum, so my opinion doesn't count for very much there ;)

i'd like Reyn to explain further on this given how Mins corner report turned out

@Nol--I like Cyndaquil the best, but in my experience Chikorita is the best one to actually have. My Gold and Crystal versions died a long time ago, so I bought HeartGold a little under a year ago and chose Chikorita. I dunno, I think Meganium is just a more solid pokemon to have, maybe? Just not as cool. (my all-time favorite starter is Mudkip, though)

Meganium is far better from a competitive standpoint but I kind of hate it

I like to keep my Chickorita unevolved

she made it pretty clear who her target was

Kivam is obviously Cult and hopefully the Cult Leader

Major FoS at Nol. first your refuse to think theres a cult at all in this game, now your using it to lead a lynch on someone. i totally dislike this 180 on this. seems liek your tryign to use the fact that Min was a Usurper to try and get an easy lynch.

your flat refusal to think a cult was in this game at all made me suspect you were cult to begin with, hence my original vote on you; now your using Min's corner report to gain a lynch makes me suspect you that much more.

not saying i disagree with the Kivam lynch or the reasons, i just think of all peopel to lead the lynch for this reason after hartily standing by his opinion of no cult in the game is suspicious.

What does everyone make of the difference in the ressurection scenes? Tina seems trustworthy, Wombat . . . does not

this now puts Wombat on top of my lynch list. Kiv was at the very top, with Nol at 2nd, but you guys took care of that :happy:

Say whatever you like, I'm actually thinking Nolder would be a good way to go today. I don't buy this "I'm just realizing things that the Mod has implied or stated directly since the sign-up thread started" thing. It feels to me like he's playing dumb, trying to pretend total ignorance of anything but what he thinks a vanilla townie would know. I've been getting a vibe like that from him from close to the beginning of the game, but there wasn't much to go on at that point, and I think he's being over the top today in a way he wasn't really yesterday.

he did directly rule out a cult though Reyn. why are you defending him on this. i called him out for not wanting to even consider the possability of a cult. FoS @ reyn for the two posts i've quoted.

I'm not sure if banishing Min was a good thing or not, since she hasn't actually done any damage to the cult. But I now think that Kivam is part of the cult and must go.

Am I the only one who thinks this is really really weird? Please tell me I'm not.

nope i see that as a wierd comment as well. banishing Min was a great idea, as it gave us loads of info. otherwise, i don't think we woudl have gotten that corners report at all. but the fact Boopsy wanted to keep Min aroudn speaks more to him being Town, given what a Usurper does to their team.

it could be Boopsy trying to appear town though.

hmmm, this person who killed Meesh and Nol in the middle of the day, do you guys think their town or anti-town. with the wording "let the fun begin" me thinks their anti-town and doing it to create confusion. then again, turning people into ghosts, especially Meesha dn Nol is a very town thing to do given it allows our corner to view either one of them and banish them if their cultists. i'd prefer a Nol viewing over Meesh because he pings me more.

i wonder why this one person was able to kill twice though, typicaly a Vig only has one kill. and do you think this is the same perosn who NKd me N1?

Okay can I start by saying what a dummy I am?

Firstly I am retarded cuz I thought Min was anti-town after the reveal on her, when she is merely anti-cult. I must have missed the blatantly obvious word USURPER. Still, I am not confident in her adamant vote on Kivs, though I will say I am less distressed than I was previously.

Secondly, I dumbly assumed that a coroner was more of a cop role, that could check anyone... but now I believe (and for Light's sake correct me if I'm wrong) that they can only check the role of a ghost. Which stinks because once a ghost is resurrected their alignment is once again unknown. At least we can go off the opinions they gave as a ghost, SORT OF... but yea. And so my point about not wasting the Coroner's report on Min is a bit lame because I was thinking "WHY WOULDN'T THEY CHECK SOMEONE ALIVE THAT MIGHT BE MORE USEFUL INFO?"

SO yea. Duh.

AND finally... after a complete reread. I am dumbfounded to say that I actually retract my FoS feelings towards Nolder. Despite all the fuss, I actually find myself agreeing with a lot that he has had to say, or at least thinking that most of his posts make sense as a town player.

Furthermore, I actually agree with this post by Meesh more than anything:

...I am being pinged by Leyrann and Boopsy right now. I have to admit Leyrann pings a little more, but with less reason at the moment except gut reaction to his posts. Boopsy already has votes on him, and I don't get his reasoning for putting Kivam down, or his cheerleading at the idea of a vote doubler on Kivam, or his seeming certainty that Min had a role (that last isn't really solid, but it felt to me like maybe he's on a team with her? Just a vibe, nothing more)...

Thus, I FoS Leyrann and Boopsy. For the above stated reasons. I will continue to make a full investigation on them later, but I have spent far too much time with Mafia tonight!

Can you please explain why you FoS me only because Meesh (not even you) has a gut reaction from my posts?

I think the coroner should look at Kivam. He was lynched because most people thought it was the best choice. The lynch has no meaning if the coroner doesn´t check him out. I don´t believe for a second that Kivam is the coroner and I hope the real coroner understand that it´s best to stay quiet. You are our greatest asset.

the thing is Tina, a corner report on Kivam isnt' relaly needed. as Min was a Usurper, her agenda was to likely get the cult leader lynched. her going after Kivam like she did paints Kivam as the Cult leader.

if Kivam isn'tthe corner, the fact he's false claiming as the corner to save his butt shoudl tell the real corner he's definately scum imo. this means that a corner view on him isn't really needed. imo, it woudl best serve use for the corner to take him out (or the other banisher) and for the Corner to view someone else (like Nolder) thsi way we get more info.

this is even if th Corner can split the banish/veiw action.

At Day1, someone, who is Cult Usurper, has a PR that she can only attack one person. And then, this person is Coroner. I don't say I buy it, but it COULD be. It it, of course, weird Kivam didn't claim before he died. If this scenario is true, then we also don't know if we have a Cult, of course, but I don't think I will buy that before the Mod says there is not Cult, or the game ends without Cult.

Wasn't Kivam's name mentioned in some of those inbetween things hoof posts. They should tell us something. Have to go and check, those names seem to blow right out of my head.

Speculating, I think it's also possible the ghosts or the living could do weird stuff, like possessing people or whatnot. Would go with the haunting, I started to think perhaps hoof posts one of those things when something has been done, succeed or fail.

Back to the game, I couldn't think of a reason why Kivam would claim coroner AFTER he died, but then I realized he could be hoping to be resurrected by someone hoping to help the town. So I dunno.

What makes me mad, for the record, is that I can only think of one real reason why I would be day-killed along with Nolder, and it's a totally stupid one! I am not, was not, have never been, on a team with Nolder. It makes no sense whatsoever that I would be and be behaving the way I have been concerning the issue, which I've stated and pointed out and given supporting reasons numerous times, but noooo.... Whoever killed me is anti-town, that's all I have to say.

I've also been pointing out lots of other things about lots of other people. Nothing happened to the rest of them. Also, if I was this banisher, why would Ishy be such a huge target over the others?

Other thoughts on the banishment process: The coroner doesn't necessarily need to be the same person who banished Min. Methinks they could be in cohorts though, possibly a specially empowered mason team? In any case, they are on the side of the angels. The other one, though, seems to be either mafia, or a loose cannon such as a Vig or SK, ghost style.

I sincerely did not think a cult would be in this game but when Min flipped Cult Usurper it definitely implies there is a cult

personally if I was you I'd be more worried if I'd suggested that Hoof just threw that in there as a decoy or something like some people have suggested

we'll get to that in a moment though

also the fact that I led the lynch is just an unfortunate consequence of my having no life and living on the internet :sad:

I like scenes a lot, its like a cut scene in Final Fantasy VII.... we work hard and get an entertaining reward even if the outcome isn't good. This is one of the reasons I like Hoofs games, he does a good job this way. But I NEVER read into them in terms of play.

I like scenes a lot, its like a cut scene in Final Fantasy VII.... we work hard and get an entertaining reward even if the outcome isn't good. This is one of the reasons I like Hoofs games, he does a good job this way. But I NEVER read into them in terms of play.

Agreed. I never read into scenes unless the Mod specifically says that there will be game information in them.

In an unrelated note, it would all players good to pay special attention to the scenes in-between lynches and death scenes. they are not as.... fluffy, as some might believe.
