"We must go undercover, if we are to find the servants of evil." Father Jordor announced sagely to the assembled warriors of good. "I have asked the town to be evacuated of all but the ghosts, and when the evil ones arrive disguised as tourists, we must root them out before they take control of Mortberg and its spirits." The Acolyte Symon looked dubious, but he had faith in his adoptive father and his wisdom.

 

Jordor continued. "Me and my apprentice shall take fake names, and we shall all disguise ourselves so that Kar'lyr will not spot us. God luck, my friends, and fare well.

 

This is a game that is quite different than any other game, in this game- the dead are not really dead! Upon death, a player will become a Ghost. Ghosts may not vote or perform any actions at Night, and they must post in blue for easy identification. Other than that they are a normal player.

 

Ghosts may also be Banished (so that they are permanently dead) or Resurrected (so that they come back to full life). Alignments and Roles are also not revealed upon death, but they may be revealed at a later date depending on the Coroner. In this game, do not assume that the bad guys will always stay bad, or that good guys always stay good. Assume nothing about Ghosts, death changes people in ways that cannot be foretold, and many who have been resurrected are not the same people that they were in life.

 

This game will be strange, perhaps the strangest you have ever played. Alignments will change, death means little and life is almost expendable.

 

If you are willing to delve into the world of the dead, sign up, and prepare for a wild ride through the very gates of death itself....

 

 

Game Rules (stolen from Lily)

 

The rules:

 

 

1.You may not quote any part of any private communication I have with you. This includes PM’s, QT boards, or IM convos.

 

2.You may reveal your name, alignment, role, etc. If you have a Fake Name, you MAY NOT reveal your real name.

 

3.You may not edit your posts.

 

4.This is a hammer game. When the hammer vote is cast, I stop counting votes and unvotes. Period.

 

5.This is a no-coroner game, for obvious reasons. Roles, alignments etc WILL NOT be revelaed upon death. Flavour scenes wil be included, but do not look TOO closely at these for information. All named characters and a few others have been given fake names that will be used in the flavour scenes. Note: There IS a coroner that shall reveal such information sometimes, do not worry.

 

6.Votes and unvotes need to be bolded and red

 

7.You must unvote before voting again.

 

8.If no majority is reached by the deadline, I will modkill TWO random players. Note, I did NOT say a non-voter. You will all be in jeopardy.

 

9.No talking off thread unless you have been given a QT board. Period.

 

10.Self voting is allowed, if you are so inclined.

 

11.Rule #14 applies. I'm just not going to think up 3 more rules for you.
