Anyone here from Ireland? Or been to Ireland?
  2. Hi Zander! 😂 I guess I do know what I'm talking about. Great stats though! #chiefskingdomLIV #20-10
  3. lmao you act like its so simple like every one hasn't tried that. At the end of the game mahomes is gonna put 30 points on you either passing or running on you when you try man coverage, and theres nothing your D can do about it regardless whether theyre actually #1 or not. Jimmy just isn't on the same level and thats gonna make you one dimesional. See you in miami 🙂
  4. LMAO! Ask Derrick Henry how that worked out 🙂 See you in miami Baby! MAHOMES the new GOAT
  5. The Patriots lost ? hahahahaha. 2020 is already off to a great start. Now we just gotta shut down the texans.
  6. I finished the main series a couple years back! They are indeed mighty dense! Thats why i love it though. Just read FOD and FOL. Gearing up to start on the other prequels and side books as well. Stick with it in the last few books, story starts jumping around quite a bit and it can feel like you just started a new series set in the same universe. Might even suggest looking up eriksons reading order as it might help the story make more sense. wish i had known before id started ? Going to have to do multiple rereads of this series just from the sheer information overload it takes to get up to speed.
  7. Hey who has read these books and any of the prequels/sequel's!
  8. Anyone got Fortnite on Xbox here. Would love to get a squad going!
  9. I've watched the whole season. Didn't play the games or even know it had a book. I really enjoyed the main actor and the fight scenes. I admit to being disappointed that the monsters look like they came from syfy. That seems more of a budgeting issue or not being prepared for what it takes to make them more realistic. The actor is great as the character and I don't mind the yennefer chick too. Try to just enjoy the main story they're building and don't focus to much on the monster mash and you might like it more ?
  10. lol lets see how he does in the playoffs ?
  11. Wohooooo! The patriots fall and we get the #2 seed. LETS GO!
  12. idk from what i saw there where some players right there who could have gotten a tackle. Its done and gone now and its just a fact that every team has had help from the officials winning games, especially the pats, so sometimes it goes the other way. We'll probably end up seeing them again soon and they can have their chance at redemption.
  13. Highly unlikely but how funny would it be to see them lose to the bengals after getting caught cheating again ?
  14. what was the second touchdown? There was only the harry touchdown and yea bad call but sorry but if you cant punch that in from the 3 yard line with 3 tries im not feeling bad. If it had been a game ending call then sure. And yea the pats only got their first touchdown with a really tacky PI call. Also the 2 personal fouls that didn't get called on them for hitting mahomes very well could have extended the lead. So yea i think that there was bad calls on both sides and that at the end of the day you have to be the team that overcomes that.
  15. Also belichick made the bad call of challenging the 1st down early in the game and wasted his chance. If he had saved it he could have helped his team but he got ahead of himself concerning whats important.
  16. there was bad officiating on both sides. Its part of the game. if one bad call is the difference between winning and losing then you didn't do enough to make sure your team won. If the personal foul on mahomes had been called it would have been 1st and 15 and more than likely a touchdown instead of a field goal, if the handful of ticky tacky calls like holding on fisher and PI on kelce then we could have extended other drives for points. basically just comes down to a shoulda woulda coulda vs a we did mentality. Either way our defense did keep brady out of the endzone on the last drive when it counted and they came up short. Now after they lose to the bills they can come take it up with us at arrowhead.
  17. Bet. The last two games the pats played the chiefs, they gave up at least 31 points in only the second half. First time playing brady is going to be nerve racking. This guy is an all time great and probably a personal idol, yet he still recovers and puts up 43 on a defense that has only allowed that a handful of times. Second time they meet in the afc champ game. More nerves and a new cover 0 scheme that has him confused. Great adjustments at half and another 31 points (lets forget about the fact that if dee ford hadnt lined up off sides we probably would have won the game right there.) Now we have a more patient and focused qb whose seen it before. He knows Hill is going to get doubled, stephon will probably cover kelce, but now we have Mercole hardman, this dude is only marginally slower than hill. Watkins taking underneath routes with two speedsters cutting up the backfield and kelce deep middle field. Dont forget mahomes is getting comfortable running on teams when they go man coverage. There's just no way someone cant get open, assume hill will be locked down and literally just use him to pull coverage. We also have one of the best olines for pass protection this year, even though it doesn't always seem like it. Only issue is whether this committee of Rbs can actually get going. I liked what i saw late in the 4th last week from thompson so well see. Now for the Pats side of the ball. receivers are weak, run game is struggling, brady doesn't seem like himself. They had a vanilla schedule and then got surprised when they lose to two teams that are actually worth talking about, one of which we have beat the last two years, so now here is to three ? well, we beat them twice, and also in baltimore, so bring it ?
  18. mhmm you still standing by this? Might feel differently when we crush them sunday ?
  19. agreed ^ honestly feel like a lot of GOT was just that way because that is what HBO does. If GOT had been on amazon it probably would have been less in your face T&A and more tasteful.
  20. When i think about it, its pretty simple. Lets be real. There's not a lot of teenagers who haven't seen GOT. If you have kids and your dont want your kids to see it and can actually enforce it great, have them wait until they are 18. Same thing can apply to this show. Have them read the books. If the show is too mature then dont have younger views watch until they are older, the reality is that they can watch anytime they want and more than likely have access to other content as well. cough cough. Personally i like an adult feel to tv shows. Im an adult and think it makes things more real. I dont appreciate gratuitousness to be clear but i shouldn't be penalized so a 12 year old can watch tv. Go play outside. When i was speaking of battles i was kind of picturing the battle of dumas wells (probably butchered that) and how grizzly that will be. Its people killing people and then being blendered at the end. Its not just going to be these epic battles with a binary good vs evil agenda with fast paced cameras zipping around so you never really focus on people. Id imagine it will be pretty violent. Im more interested to know how they will portray rands conversations with lews therin. Honestly theres alot of dialogue in peoples heads that will be missed out on ?
  21. why are they "crazy" sex scenes? Its just sex and it did happen in the books and itll be shown in the show in some format. Simply because Jordan didn't try his hand at erotica doesn't mean that there wasn't plenty of it or that it wasn't important. As for the other comment, i for one do want a bloody and explicit version. This book is not wholesome pg 13 story, there are hangings, slavery, mind control, beheading, countless murders, sexual degradation and humiliation along with plenty of battles. Just because it might come off across as okay to let kids read this, a visual representation is most definitely for adults. IMHO
