DRAGONMOUNT

A WHEEL OF TIME COMMUNITY

Interesting night...

Recommended Posts

After careful and considerate investigation, I have determined the police did not, in fact, shoot anyone.

Fnorbot had his sword and saw the commotion. The man the police allegedly shot pulled out a gun, and seeing that the police were not reaction fast enough, Fnorbot ran across the street, pulled out his small dagger and punctured the man, mimicking a bullet wound.

Wtf is wrong with these people? They are kids, teenagers, even dozens of girls. They absolutely trashed enfield last night. They arent protesting anything, they have just seized the opportunity to go nuts. What will it take to stop it now tho?

Getting slightly worried.

from what i recall, riots settle down after the summer is over. unless there's a blackout.

these things have a brief natural lifespan. if you can get away to the country for a while. . . well, if you could, you probably would have by now. sorry.

but it will end, there will be normal again.

the humans are always dangerous when heavily concentrated. but their attention spans are very short.

you are in my thoughts and prayers. just wait it out, it will all settle down.

Stay safe, Fnorrll. It's crazy what will start a riot. Here in the state, all it takes is a ball game . . . though we also have them after shootings and natural disasters.

I've never understood the mentality of what would cause "sane" people to go around destroying and/or torching other people's property. How on earth can that be fun? And how would they feel if it was their property getting torched? *sighs*

What you need Fnorrll is a trolloc. That will settle them all down. *looks up tickets* Hmmm... a little pricey to fly to london.

Oh well, you are on your own! Good luck and if they want to burn something of yours... offer the warders yard. Plenty of us to rebuild!

some of the time rioters torch their own property. i think the mentality is that they're living in such crapful conditions in the midst of such obscene wealth that they might as well burn it down.

but i don't think that's the casse here. i think it's one of those humans gone wild things. they'll be embarassed when they see the video.

I saw a picture on the cover of I think it was the New York Times. Was of a, wht I would say a beautiful old building, that was nothing more than a burnt out husk now. Dude, Fin, you be damn careful alright? That's some scary stuff right there.

On a side note. Why has the font gotten so tiny??

This is now just stupid. It is now just pure criminal action, with people just jumping on the bandwagon of what has happened elsewhere. The sooner something happens here in London, the better, as someone innocent is going to die. Our country is struggling economically as it is, and these mindless thugs aren't helping. The full force of the law should be thrown at these morons, but sadly, our criminal system won't be able to cope.

I used to live in and around the area where all this kicked off. To be honest, the Tottenham area is extremely rough, and there is nothing going for people there. I just hope it doesn't spread to the area of London I live in.

I was visiting a friend today and then she went to work in a shopping center. I wandered down the road to buy some dvds. Suddenly there was blind panic everywhere and all the shops started closing up. People were running down the streets shouting "theyre coming!" traffic crawled to a standstill. Police cars descended. I ran back up the road to my friends shopping center. As i arrived she called me, sobbing, saying "theyre inside the shopping center!" the security were throwing everyone out but i told them i was going for my girlfriend and barged past. I made my way to her shop and led her out past crowds of kids wearing hoodies and scarfs on their faces and we got out and home. It was like being in a zombie movie. Hence why iv been offline all day. Im currently drinking hard. It was pretty scary.

This seems like a made up story, but it was my day today. Im in shock...what else can i say.

what cowardly little twerps. hoodies and scarves. and straight for the goodies at the shopping center. real political statement, that. i can imagine how scared the old people, and the kids, and the disabled are, locked up in their houses, right now.

i'm sorry, Fnorrll. these are bad days.

i was thinking more like little kids. i was 4, 5 and 6 when this was happening in my neighborhood. it was horrifying. i don't ever sit in an unlocked house to this day.

i hope it's not little kids doing this. i wish it was nobody doing this. it's just so pointless and pathetic.

i know it's not political - i was being sarcastic. sorry. wrong time, wrong place.

it brings back bad memories for me. i hope it ends very soon.

This is nuts! I heard it on the news just now(i had no tv for a couple of days). Couldn't figure out why there would be such a chaos over a police killing a civil(this happens almost everyday here-i swear) >.< I hope you are staying safe,Fnorrll, and everyone else on DM who are in London at the moment.

Light, the world has gone completely insane. I'm glad to hear you're safe, Fnorrll and hope you'll stay that way. I can't even begin to comment on those idiots (well, I can but this is hardly the time or place for my views on it). Something must be done and quickly because this is too idiotic for words.

Taishar Fnorll. You did a very brave thing there for your girl. Hang in there, buddy.

My thoughts are with all of you down there.
