Ty dear that sounds like you are trying to pull theories about me out of thin air because you didn't like my comment about Pete.  That sounds even MORE like defending him than what Lily said sounded like that.

Meesh... those two long statements up there where you first started using white?  I can sum them up in one sentence.

WIFOM!!   ;D

GAH, you reminded me that I failed to post my HEX code after the quote of your vote change... >.<  I'd edit to put that in there but I really don't want to edit my post. :D

It's AZURE, darling. :P

And yes, I suppose that's a good way of putting it.  But thinking of something as a WIFOM just makes me overthink it. :P

Hm...Tynaal, emphasize your lack of thinking much? :D

Meesh, don't sweat it. I'm truly sorry if I sounded snippy. I'm not upset. I got interrupted nine times while trying to write that post. If it came across irritated it was at the kids, not you. I've just gotten kind of immune to your theories on me, meaning I don't let them upset me anymore. That's a good thing. This IS just a game, and right now, one of the points of sanity in my life. (When a mafia game is a point of sanity, I suppose I ought to consider that a red flag...lol) No worries, sweetie, there's nothing to worry about. We're here to find scum. That's hard to do without being a bit direct. So, fire away.

As day breaks those that slept awaken.  That is all but one person. She was laying in a lump in a corner and it took everyone a few moments to notice that she wasn’t moving at all. Craftyreader/Sarah had been drained of blood. Obviously someone had done this undetected by anyone else in the gym. The Cullen Family members were outraged that they had missed this and that a human had been served up as food to a vampire. Obviously there were more among them.

Craftyreader/Sarah- Jessica Stanley an innocent has died. She had the ability to switch night actions from one person to another.

You all start to look around an notice that Tynaal seems to be in a catatonic state. You wonder what could possible have done this to her.

Day ends Sunday night at 7PM MST.

There are now 13 players left in the game. OP has been updated. It takes 7 people to lynch.

okay i think this confirms the 2 seperate mafia theory :(  and i'd bet they are the Volturi.  *sighs heavily*

i'm suspecting that by "catatonic state" it means she's frozen.

the real question is did the mafia freeze her or was it someone from the town??  and no im not asking for anyone to reveal either.

she has been pinging my radar since her reveal.  that and she was starting to gain some suspicion over the night.

just because she's frozen though doesn't mark her as innocent in my book; in the charmed Mafia, the mafia froze one of their own to try and keep him from being suspected.  it didn't work, but the strategy still stuck with me, and its honestly the first thing that came to my mind when i saw she was frozen.  which is why i mention it

unless a veiwer comes out and says she is scum, i don't like to vote for a frozen person....

sorry just thinking outloud ...

Happy 2010 everyone! It's been the new year for 10 hours now here - so far so good ;)

I used my night find last night, and had a 100% reading, and confirmed an innocent. I won't reveal said person so that they are not targeted for night, but in the case they look like they're going to be lynched, I got their back!

Unfortunately, it didn't help me find any bad guys. I'm really torn where to look, I'll wait a bit I think before voting.

I revealed earlier - I am Angela (human) and was given a one-time night find. I used it last night, and yes Min said I flipped 100%. I found Alice Cullen :)

ahhhh  i like Alice she's so sweet :)  shes my 2nd or 3rd fav charrie in the books.  even though it didnt help you find any bad guys atleast it narrows down the pool of those who are likely to be scum

Happy new year everyone!

Right so the mafia are still roaming, we need to get discussing, get the ideas flowing. Interesting thought on that "catatonic state" Red, it could well be a either a townie or mafioso with a freezing ability.

When I saw Ty in a catatonic state, I immediately figured it was a freezing thing.  I've never played a game with that, but I looked over Charmed Mafia when it was finished, so I'm not completely in the dark here. :D  It could be something else, but that seems to me the most likely option.

Thoughts on Jessica/Sarah/Craftyreader...I wonder if she used her night action at all, and on who, but that's something we may not know until endgame. :D

The fact that there has only been one nightkill per night makes me think that either there was a mafia without a nightkill that inherited the nightkill from the other dead mafia when it was eliminated (a backup mafia, so to speak), or else that there is a cult that has the option to either recruit for the night or else nightkill someone.

Unless it's a cult that recruited someone like a serial killer or vigilante, and are directing that person's night actions. Totally possible.  And we can't really make any definite conclusions until we either lynch someone who's not Town or else until we have a few more Night results to see a pattern in.

Those are my thoughts.

Is that so?  I've only been in 2, maybe 3, games, with a cult, and the two I can remember for sure having a cult, didn't have that happen.

Harry Potter Mafia, the cult recruited people and they kept their powers.  They recruited the Finder night 1.  Recruited the last 2 mafioso (myself and one other) and we kept our roles and our night kill.  Wheel of Time Mafia over on MyndJack, the Cult recruited people and they kept their powers; I was never recruited but I know that the roleblocker was Cult (not, I think, to begin with) and he kept his power to the end.  I could be remembering incorrectly, but I'm fairly sure I'm not.

So in my experience, the cult making people lose their powers upon being recruited is an oddity.

That's what restrictions are for.  I'm pretty sure I remember Pete mentioning that, too.

In the Harry Potter game, the cult couldn't recruit unless one of their members had been voted for during the day, and voting for one of their own didn't count.  So they had to be under some suspicion, enough to be voted by someone who wasn't cult.  Otherwise, no recruit for the night.

And in the WoT game, there was a cult sniffer and lots of other roles (plus the Cult leader got lynched before too much was done, I think; the mafia won at any rate).

Oh, and I remember where else I saw a cult...it was Liathiana's BSG game (I didn't play in it).  I'm not sure if the Cult had a 100% chance of recruiting, but I know the recruits did keep their roles and abilities.

There are other ways of balancing it.

I'm following along in your discussion, but don't have anything to contribute yet. I just wanted to say Meesh, I love your siggy.

I didn't know about restrictions to a cult. That's new, and good to know before I start modding a game with one in it. lol
