It is generally standard for Ley to not make a "real" vote early. He will usually joke vote then make a point of removing it once the game becomes serious. I can see that he might be clinging to his ways as I believe that to be his personality. My problem about the lack of voting was in part because I kind of explained the difference in this setup. I would.have less difficulty about it if he elected to vote (even me) and then change as he thought justified. I may be asking too much in this case tho.

I had the impression you were returning to mafia after an absence. Is this the case?

Yes. I generally don't have time to play. With this one being here in BT and small I figured I would give it a go.

I do try to read the games. Like I did see and note what I thought was a mafia claim by dice in the fight club game.

OK. You described some of Ley's patterns above - how much have you played together and how long has it been?

Will you nutshell a comparison of dice in that game and this one for posterity?

It has been a while. At least 6 months I would guess. Prior to that for the previous 3-4 years? We played most BT games which would be in excess of 20 games. Maybe much more.

That was at Ley

Yes, we knew that one.

He's acting like he doesn't know you. You're acting like he does. Please clear this up.

He doesnt know me. But what exactly about me takes "getting used to".

Ima slowly back away from that one...

Can't really. I didn't play so my depth was not as high. And my recollection of it is not great. That one post really set off alarms so I remember it.

Not everyone would make a comment like the one I replied to. Don't get me wrong, I like people who do it, but still, takes some getting used to.

Same to you, Ley: is Turin Scum or Town?

Not sure yet, but considering Dice is looking scummier and scummier, Turin is looking a bit better, as he was the first one to pressure Dice. I think I'd go with town if forced at gunpoint. Unsure who the other scum is (assuming Dice indeed is; if he isn't then the whole game looks a whole lot different at once), but I think it would probably be Marsh or Nini by PoE. And Nyn might be fooling me, I don't know how she normally plays, but hey, if mafia fools you, they deserve the win.

Leyrann, might I ask as to where you hail from?

224, 225, 233, 235

does rum stop you from being able to count?

Hang on a moment, now, I thought it was Turin you were mad at. Now you're being grumpy at DPR? This anger feels fake--it's too vehement and too sustained, like an overeager parody of your normal bad attitude when sussed.

I'm going to add that this is not a normal game where player's have to convince one another, so pushing a particular case is less valuable than stating where you stand on each player.

I'm finding that the most helpful posts are the lists detailing what you think about every player - these should be revealing in a couple of days from now.

And vote. Go ahead, even if yer shy, and put yourself on record. For the town.

How about:

Vote Dice

Marsh... sup?

Marsh. Where are you?

Marsh!!! It's not Sunday yet. Please join in.

Oh hai. I slept in cause 3 day weekend (Boston Marathon)

Niniel: Unsure.

Leyrann: Town.

Dice: 95% sure mafia.

Marsh: Unsure.

Nyn: Leaning town.

DPR: Confirmed town.

Turin: Would be leaning mafia, except I don't think he's on the team with Dice.

I know it's not a whole lot, but I feel like the game has been dominated by Turin, Nyn and the focusing on Dice so far. Would probably be able to say a lot more when D2 starts, considering we have at least one more confirmed alignment then (either DPR hits town and we have this town confirmed, or he hits mafia and we have a dead mafia confirmed plus another town confirmed).

Thoughts on all the players please.

Nin: I'm not too comfortable with her yet. I'd feel more confident on her if I saw a little less hedging

Ley: Gun to head town, but I'm not at all solid on that read

Dice: Looking pretty scummy ATP

Marsh: Lock town

Nyn: Probably my top town read behind DPR. However, I reserve the right to change that at a later date because I have a vivid memory of being swept by deepwolf!Nyn in a game a few months ago.

DPR: Lock town

Turin: Basically inverse of Ley. Gun to head scum, but I have nothing to back it up but a gut feeling.

Day 1 ends in:

I'm gonna leave this here so it's easier to find.
