Why would we need points?
That's the question at the moment - the rest will still be fine tuned 😉

Oh yeah and ... which parts don't you understand?

do I have to go and stand in the corner or something?
Of course not! That would be utterly absurd. Mother does not like to waste an Aspie's time like that!
Get mother some iced Kaf, instead.

My apologies for throwing up some of my dark past and dropping the mood. It was probably uncalled for.
Not at all, my dear! Things are what they are - don't apologise for the truth.
And thank you so much for that flower! It's one of my favourites, from my favourite place in the world 🙂

@Dead Warder*hugs* ... what an awful thing war is.

I love your various reasonings from the viewpoint of your Ajahs and personal lives 😁
I've never really had any thoughts on this specific event either way, though I did start my first real job on a Friday the 13th, and worked there for 13 years. The bosses in that place made me extremely cynical about life in general and any kind of boss and/or religion in specific.
On the other hand, I learned an amazing amount there, and enjoyed my actual work and my colleagues very much.

What would you use them for?
The obvious thing would be for usage at the Battlegrounds, but what else could they be used for?
Ie Sue Sedai has 13 points, Peggy Sedai has 21 ... so what?
Greg Gaidin has 14 points, Tom the Algai has 3 ... what is the effect of that?
Looking for ideas here 🙂

Please post here so we can get a general idea.
If you're not on and you want to be, you'll need to friend one of us. PM me your FB details and I'll add you, iffin you want 🙂

I thank my Lucky Stars I'm not superstitious, but ... many people are.
Some of those people believe that Friday the 13th is a very unlucky day. Others believe it to be their lucky day, on the other hand.
As Min said to Rand, there must be positive to balance out the negative.
What do you think about the matter?
Where does your Ajah / the Warders stand on it, and how would you handle the day if you believed it to be unlucky?

I come from a rural farming community in South Africa.
We're mostly from German & Dutch descent, which means quite staid and puritanical characteristic.
The Emonds Field people really resonate with that, which made me be able to relate to them from the start. It's very difficult for me to do that with most book.
Leading on to the Tower, I just fell in love with that set-up too.
From there, I became a rabid fan ... LoL
To date I've read most of the books over 20 times, and the earliest ones over 30 times. The last 3 ... well, twice.

Moved both of your posts to this topic since Episode 5 was NOT the correct topic for Lan knowing about Moiraine being shielded.
Thank you.
But I didn't mention that, so didn't think it was a spoiler.

Lan said in one episode that it takes 8 Aes Sedai to gentle/still a channeler. I guess 8 is the lucky number instead of 13 and there will be 8 Forsaken
Yeah apparently Lan now knows more about Channeling than any Aes Sedai.

Actually said by my Great Uncle CJ Langenhoven in Parliament (South Africa):
Half of the members here are idiots.
When ordered to withdraw his words, he agreed and said:
Half of the members here are NOT idiots.

I guess I'm not at the right places.
No, that is wrong.
YOU are the audience - Amazon should be advertising where you are, ergo THEY are in the wrong places.

Something like this ...
Referring to Sour as Bitter?
in Wheel of Time Books
Posted
To me the 2 things are totally unalike. And bitter is not necessarily unpleasant - I like my chocolate very dark, for instance. Lemons, on the other hand, not so much. Except in small doses in something else.
