I've not decided yet. Some things I really liked, some I'm not so sure of, but I want to see more before I make up my mind. I'm just glad someone's doing it, finally!

I managed to watch that young lad Daniel Green slowing it down and breaking it up. Quite interesting.

Let me say upfront that I AM excited about this, and I will try my utmost to watch it, but ... does anyone else get the feeling that they've aimed for a cross between LoTR and Dune?

Good grief it's amazing how we can see things completely differently!

Here I was looking at it and thinking well now they've given the Aes Sedai all these spiffy, fancy clothes to wear, why the heck can't they have them using at least a little bit of makeup? They all look so ... well worn.

As for the "overly colourful" opinions: I for one am grateful for a clear picture where I can actually make out some details, instead of it all just being a dark blur.

And I'm also not looking for any kind of repeat of GoT.

I want to see it in slomo! Can anyone do that? LoL ...

Firstly, I love the clothes. Looks amazing. Scenery is fantastic. I can't wait to see this! Hopefully we'll get to see it somehow here in South Africa.

Well, apart from discussions about the Book & TV series, we also have a Roleplaying side and a Social Side (where we pretend to be Aes Sedai hehehe).

I agree with you. I think much improved from the 2nd book already, especially his development of his theory of his "magic system".

Absolutely 100% yes! Some of us have read each book several times. In my case, over 20 times for most of the earlier books ... lol ... still pick up new things.
