The whole Rey thing is after reading his iso, I got the sense that he was trying to make it look like he was solving without actually putting in the work.

 

His statistic questions also felt to me like casting shade on dice. It might just be coincedence that dice was in both groups, but follow that up with asking 2 people how they felt about dice without giving your own input. I dunno, it's fishy to me.

I guess. But I feel that was rather early on in the life of this game. So i could accept that he was trying to get things going. Haven't seen anything I'd paint as scummy from him thus far.

You're entitled to your opinion. I personally like to ask people direct questions about their reads on people throughout the game. Its easy to answer if you're a townie. If you're scum, you have to scramble and think "what would a townie think about this person at this time." And it helps trip them up.

I had originally found something towny about him, but upon reread can't figure out what it is.

 

My reason is weak and I know that, but it's bugging me and I'm undecided about zander right now.

I think he handled some early posts towards himself quite well and just has had a very level tone in all his posts, which is nice. Doesn't make him LOCK CLEAR or anything but he's not in my POE either.

 

Fill disclosure I can never remember what POE actually stands for but I'm fairly certain I'm still using it as intended

Eldrick, what has you undecided about Zander? Not too long ago you stated you were switching to Rey in part ( I assume no small part since you phrased it that way ) to prevent a ninja hammer of zander. That doesn't really read as undecided but more like giving it time.

 

Feels disconnected to me. Worrisome.

Dice has asked why I think his above post is illogical. He's appearing scummy to me partly because of the chop-logic he's been displaying. Zander's actions on the QT (as described by Turin) have been shady as hell, and the way they've been going at it, and so visibly, I highly highly doubt that they're both town. 

 

Bold above: what on earth does this mean? Yes, that's the way the game is played. Turin's role as a Neighbour has ceased to become effective now that the relationship between Zander and he has broken down. Town will go one for one, vanilla for scum. What was the point of this statement at all? Chop-logic.

Dice this reasoning still feels like a relatively weak attempt to avoid voting one way or another on Turin and Zander. At least that's all I'm really taking away from this.

2) I understand it perfectly, I'm saying your logic was poor. And that's exactly the point I just made, that it would be worth it from a town perspective to swap Turin (effectively vanilla now) for scum. I absolutely agree with Turin on that. It's also obvious, and that you couldn't see that is suspicious. Or bad play.

Dice, I find it difficult to believe you would not realize that town (especially vanilla for all intents and purposes) will gladly trade themselves for a mafia member. That is what Rey said. That is clearly demonstrating an understanding of town mindset.

Turin, Shad, Zander, Rey all sound relaxed during the early game.

 

John straight in with gameplay; I suspect this is pretty null for him, but a good start

 

Zander stays on point even after Tsuki comes in with gifs, I still think this is a good look

This is mostly true, but he has been crazy tunnelly as town before and not cased as well as he should. Meh

 

#88 @Rey In regards to meta-play, it's been heavily used recently, more among some players than others. Sometimes it's used to make really accurate cases, sometimes it totally screws us over, so it just depends. I think it's a good tool to get some early reads in a game though. If we know how people generally react, it's somewhere to start from.

Probably sitting null-townish on Dice for his responses. Townish on Zander. Shad gets negative points for his light entrance, something isn't sitting right there. Lenlo (-) for that awk post I mentioned earlier. Tsuki had some weird reads I want him to expand on so that I know what he's saying. Most everyone else is null. Might actually call Turin town.

 

Laine, can you explain your townish read on Zander? The only thing you said about him above was a negative that maybe became null? And straight after you say you don't want to push him?

Both seem pretty comfortable in thread at this point, but that's null for both, no strong feelings on both. Zander seems relatively focused and didn't follow Tsuki into a gif war. I can follow Zanders thought process but don't agree regarding Dice.
