hi think what they may mean is how to get someone's attention in the thread

 

to do the equivalent of @kivam you quote a post of the person you want to respond. if they have their notification prefs set, as they should, to get notified when they're quoted, they will get a notification.

 

somene should maybe go through how to ISO for the new peeps?
