But seeing as the new trend in the last couple of games I was town in was to shoot me N1, I really wouldn't be surprised to find that I was the target. Scum get twitchy when I get chatty. Or so I'm told.

Votes Dar after me, saying I have superior instincts. It's true that we have been known to bat eyelashes at each other, but stinks like buddying by trying to stroke my ego.

Then he throws a comment about his willingness to put a vote on me. Even though up until now he has acted as if I know best and was willing to sheep my vote on Dar.

 

He eventually unvotes Dar and votes Rand. Why is he voting Rand? A hunch. Or maybe it's because Dar's train wasn't taking off to his satisfaction.

 

Then he tells me not to worry, that he'll only vote me when I'm scum. This comment suggests that he knows I'm not scum. And how, pre tell, will he know that?

As an added note..... my giftie involved me jailkeeping Notbob. There was no kill. So either he's the scum who submitted the kill in which case I pwned his ass, either he was the target (which I doubt), or the doc protected me. N1 docs tend to self protect so I'm more inclined to think that I nailed NB's ass. It would make for a more awesome story in any case. lol

 

I obviously can't guarantee that my jailkeeping was what blocked the kill,  since I don't know what other PRs did. But looking at his ISO I think he's a shoe in for a scummy. He has contributed zero insight or leans. He sheeped my vote on Dar for no other reason then allegedly trusting my instincts. When her train didn't take off he switched to Rand. His general demeanor is sucking up to me, saying I'm god's gift to mafia. Then at the same breath he says he's open to vote me.... but that I don't need to WORRY... cause he'll only vote me when I'm scum. Heh.

If Notbob flips scum it makes Daruya look better. Just scum jumping from one less likely mislynch to another. It seems like less of a distancing move to me because Daruya's train COULD have taken off.

 

It also makes Rand looks bad because if I recall correctly (I'll have to double check in a bit), when he was going through the list of people that voted for Rand 1.0 he pretty much gave Notbob a free pass for casting the vote on a hunch because that's "how Notbob plays". Then he shifted the focus to the last three people that voted Rand 1.0 (Dice, Mynd and me) and said that one of them should be scum.

 

I'll go look for that quote now, actually.

This is NotBob's style, throw out a vote, he has his reasons, won't say them.  Looks fairly good for him now.  If he had tried to put in reasons I would have been suspicious.

Basically, free pass to notbob. I find it hard to believe that Rand would address a vote from notbob with zero reason as fine and go tralalalalala! Especially when that vote got his previous incarnation dead. I know he has taken over another slot now but I expect him to be semi peeved. He isn't. 

 

Then he gives me a town lean which would have made him look awesome sauce if I were to.... for instance..... come up dead after N1. :P

NotBob likes to play like this, it was a meta town read, but still a town read.  If I recall, it worked for me last time in the Tron game.  And I like to go more logic in mafia games, I try very hard not to hold grudges (unless I'm joking about it like with Mynd)

Woah woah woah, I told Darthe right before I voted that I didn't believe him and that it was all his fault if this was wrong.

 

Although NotBob, even when you give whimsical votes, you're not crazy enough that you have no reasons at all.  You just keep your reasons hidden.  I honestly don't see any reason to vote me at this point, so unreveal your reasons for now.

I believe that we have a jailkeeper in the game.  If we also have a doc, we should protect that player tonight and let our Jailkeeper take a look at one of us.  This way we can spare the risk of lynching a townie and give our jailkeeper a chance to interrogate our suspect.
