Well I found Hallia's sudden defense of Darthe somewhat remarkable. Not Sure. Going at thing moment Vote Hallia.

This seems like an odd vote. I don't think scumbags would tie themselves together THAT easily. She defended him and if you're looking to apply pressure then I don't really see what else you're going to get out of her. I'm content with voting Darthe though.

I do believe Darthe's claim, it's just something he would do, and GF doesn't really ping with me too awfully bad because I'm not sure if he's played a lot of games with Darthe otherwise he probably would as well, as it seems most people do.

I have gone through this thread and its very obvious that there are two competing trains for the Day 1 lynch. I have not made up my mind yet, as for whom my vote shall be. However, there is still more than enough time for me to make my decision before the deadline.

I think it's still too early for this game to have two competing trains, and I don't like how you are limiting yourself to only Dap and Tiink (?).

Quick check in before work, and PS I am back on the mobile version as I have no reply boxes in the full version again. Grrr....

I just wanted to add that after that first mod post I started thinking about Darthe's claim. The "gamemakers have their suprises, Each day, they will reward or punish a tribute. How they choose...", I don't believe Darthe would go outright claim on day 1 nor did his reasoning really make any sense to me. I believe he was the first to be "punished".

For that reason and since I would never settle for going with a vanilla lynch just because it's day 1. So I am going to vote Tiinker because of this (sorry I can't do quotes in mobile) from Tiink "My opinion was pretty straight and clear. So you believe that Darthe was punished for something right at the start of the game? He claimed Vanilla with his first post, so even without Mish explaining that nobody has been punished yet, your reasonings to believe he was don't make any sense. You don't believe Darthe would claim on Day 1 (do you have a meta read on him?), but he did explain his reasonings why he did so quite in depth.

Without committing?? My opinion was pretty straight and clear. He's not necessarily scummy to me yet but his lynch would be an acceptable one. Why? Because according to him it'd be a vanilla or a mafia. If he's a power role I'm counting on him revealing that before he get's lynched, wouldn't you?? I'm not advocating his lynch, and I'm not pushing for it. YET. Because we still have time to look for a better candidate. If you understand that and yet want to lynch me anyway then so be it.

I didn't consider him having a PR because I've never played a game where anyone has ever had to announce upfront D1 that they're a vanilla town. If that's the case and we lynch him then shit, TIL

Hidden triggers, that makes things very interesting - anyone played anything like this before?

I'm sure we're all making an effort to make our posts and quotes clear, might slow down the game a little but we just have to pay a bit more attention when reading I suppose.

I don't like the possibilty of leaving Darthe in the lead to be lynched close to deadline, then he reveals something else, no lynch on Darthe, no lynch on anyone else either cos we are all focusing on this one interaction, and we loose two town to a random instead (if I was reading that mod post right).

I don't see a no lynch. I'd suspect the usual last minute pile up... the DL would be.... um... Monday after work for east coast US.

Misunderstanding. When Dap said PR I thought he meant mod told, not power role. My bad, I was just trying to reply quickly because it was late and I had something to do. I said that Darthe has said he's a vanilla. If it comes down to it and we're not able to safely lynch anyone then I'd rather vote him because he hasn't done much to prove he's town which is why I'm comfortable with the risk of lynching either vanilla or mafia. If he's got a power role and doesn't reveal when his head is on the chopping block then why would I take credit for that? He should've revealed then.

I said that Darthe has said he's a vanilla. If it comes down to it and we're not able to safely lynch anyone then I'd rather vote him because he hasn't done much to prove he's town which is why I'm comfortable with the risk of lynching either vanilla or mafia. I always get those confused too.

Yes, Ithi's Indiana Jones game had triggers, it made for a very fun game! Darthe only has 1 vote on him right now it looks like, so I don't think we're in danger of losing him.

Darthe often does or says something to get the game started (as has been pointed out). I read his play as just that.

So far I'm suspicious of Tiink. I understand not voting.

Sorry, my laptop malfunctioned. Something about the dvd driver half reading a movie disc, far north as it happens, half way, not a boot disk but anyway the computer got screwed. Seems unlikely to jam the whole laptop, but so has happened. I so appealingly spent half of today to try to fix it, somehow to get windows started, finally to call an it expert friend of mine who neither could tell what to do, save, what I came here at the Uni computers to look up where I'll take it for maintenance tomorrow. As I recall the busses back start going in 2 hours or so, so I could look at the game, that is if I'm no too pissed off about it to even think about it. In any case, I'll, without the laptop, try to get back here to the Uni computers tommorrow afore the deadline.
