I didn't have time to follow the remainder of the game, I miffed that about half the votes on me were Javier (I think) I have not actually looked through to confirm this

 

Oh and for Despo's sake...

Very good game, all... glad I didn't miss it. And srsly, Javier Scum... At least thanks for not using the kidnapper kill on me. Some of those ways to die were just horrific.

Great game, Wes. I was confused more often than not, which is what I expect from one of your games. LOVED the scenes!

 

I wasn't confused at any point.

 

I literally just wasn't playing for like the first 3 days. Just doing enough to not be modkilled for inactivity, lol.

 

When I took the time to think about the setup, the approach to the game was clear as day to me. Thread 1 townies should hunt scum from thread 1 only, while thread 2 scum kills off thread 2 town. As long as we kept that paradigm in place, I felt Javier would win.

 

It was a fun, ambitious set up though.

Yeah it got easy enough to follow along after a day or so. Btw, Inactivity wasn't a problem. Some made it to end game with only 5-9 posts in total. The trick was in figuring out that we had to be Uber townie and rely on night abilities rather than actively attempting to cause shifts in the game during the day. Targeting the other thread wouldn't work here. That said, I think both towns would have benefitted their mafia more by releasing information such as: All these people are town or mafia etc or have these abilities, rather than holding it until late game.

I might have tried to help benefit my Fatima team if I had actually not been daykilled. For the record, as I was incredibly pissed initially but have since cooled in the week or two it took this game to end.....peace should not have received a result that I targeted myself. As the Shadow, people targeting me should get "no result".

 

The Javier mafia saw peace's posts and thought I was a Doc self-protecting at night.....so they daykilled me.

 

 

 

Overall, this was an ambitious game and a good one. DPR's work/life balance was unfortunate - it happens. Great job to the Javier team.

Yeah, thanks. Just so you know that move completely effed up our plans for a bit, without that challenge we would have been in awesome shape. Sucked to have to pretend I loved the move in game, when I was cursing about it on the QT lol.

Yar ... an I got confused about the Role because another player had been told the previous Night that Verb Shadowed himself, so when DPR dropped the clipboard in my lap I just followed what had been done previously, because I didn't really understand the Role. I apologised a whole lot though.

 

And I was quite ill also ... >.>

Oh and btw, how did I die? I targeted Shinori who hid with Darthe... instead of hitting the mirror, shouldn't my action have just failed, considering my target was hiding?

 

And bomb, mirror, governor, AND hider all on the same team?

No way. I read the QT about 5 times right away, as DPR linked me to them. You wondered what the no result was, but the clincher was the info that I targeted myself. It is all in there on the QT. LZM did try to poison me right off the bat, but your QT posts distinctly point to the info peace mentioned on thread.

But the Hider role doesn't usually work like that. Night Actions usually just fail on them when they're hiding, they don't get redirected to the person they hide with

You might feel that way Verb, but even without Peace's results I promise you we still would have targeted you with a DK. Not many roles would account for a NA failing, we still would have looked at you as a fatima town power role that needed to go
