Not really much choice.

Meh. I'm not gonna lie, I was going to let it go random and up to DPR. I figure that if I'm right, a potential for scum death is better than a definite town death.

At the risk of a town power role.

You might as well as blind lynched Crusher or one of the other inactives.

I would have hammered. Wouldn't have gone do DPR.

I was about to announce that I'll hammer and to ask folks to allow me to do it....and then done nothing. Maybe it would have worked?

I was willing to gamble on that.

Verb, I would have hammered. Would have been to suspicious of you being up to something.

Damn you and your well founded suspicions.

She went willingly. That much could be said about her.

Javier drummed his fingers as he watched the town scurry below him. They were confused, understandingly so. But they didn't know. Not yet.

In the end, Lily was strung up on the hastily constructed gallows and spasmed little as she died.

LILY, TOWN FATIMA and FOLLOWER, HAS BEEN LYNCHED.

A murmur ran through the crowd, not loud, but noise enough to cover the soft chittering beneath them...

YOU HAVE 24 HOURS TO TURN IN YOUR NIGHT ACTIONS. AT THAT POINT EXCTLY, DAY WILL BEGIN AND THE GAMES WILL MERGE ONTO THREAD 3. SLEEP WELL...

I'll hammer if she doesn't answer.

I'll hammer if needed.

That's at least 4 times you've told us you would have hammered her. I think we get the picture.

Again with your misrepresentations. Twice, count them 2 times I said I WOULD hammer. And, twice, that's 2 times I said I WOULD HAVE hammered (past tense.). Sheesh...when will you stop with this gross misrepresentation of my game play.

For those of you hummorly disadvantaged that was all meant to be tougue in cheek.

... Anyone who says "Blablablab if I knew that balbalbalba I would have unvoted vlavlabalbal" THERE IS NO REASON FOR YOU TO SAY ANY OF THAT. You fricking did what you did, and saying anything afterwards doesn't change the fact that the outcome turned out this way....

AWww Lily.. I'm so sorry, had I known you were town, I would have unvoted...

IT'S FRICKING OBVIOUS -.-

Blech. Sucks that we lost a useful investigative role, but we only have ourselves to blame cause we never strapped down and actually started playing the game more enough to give us a viable alternative. I kind of think the deadline extension just made some become even more lackadaisical and spammy since they thought we had SO MUCH TIME. Really pisses me off. And you know, just to rant for a sec- I've heard some old-school DM'ers complain that us "newbloods" try to get into game mode too quickly, and don't spend as much time spamming and having fun, but look at what friggin happens! In the other thread, Christine even said she normally doesn't post on day 1's cause there's no point. WTF?! If we spam the whole time and be stupid, we end up having to run up a lynch on someone at the last second, even if they claim a powerful role. The other thread didn't even secure a lynch. I say pfblt to all of you old-schoolers that complain that we move too quick into game mode. The advantage this gives us is that we NORMALLY have much more productive day 1's.

And yeah, go ahead and quote me and call it mock outrage all you want, it seriously does kind of irk me, the attitude some of the old-school mafia players have about day 1.

That seems pretty irresponsible. Remember, DPR didn't say it would go to a random. It could have been an even worse outcome (the other thread didn't get a lynch, and their flavor scene makes me think there's some bad stuff in store for them). Easy to say that you'd gamble on it after the hammer has already been dropped. If you HAD gone through with your plan, then NOT hammered and left it up to DPR, I would have been pretty pissed at you.

Go team Fatima! Even if I do h8u all right now.

:madmyrddraal:

Mebbe next time you don't dismiss my case, and instead offer a viable alternative.

Good job guys

Mock admonishment?

This.

Honestly, I think this game is going to be a mess now, since both games are already going to merge. It's going to be even more chaotic, and neither thread had a very productive day 1. We need to friggin shape up or this game will flop as hard as some other games I've seen recently that I expected to be awesome.
