Game Rules:

 

1. By signing up, you are agreeing to play. Lurking is a legitimate playstyle in some situations - but keep in touch with me by PM. If you evaporate, I will assume you have had an RL emergency and will wait for you to return. Should your a$$ show up with a "I'm in 17 other games and I forgot about this one" or other like comment, I'll modkill you so you don't have to be bothered anymore.

 

2. If you fake an RL emergency, I'll modkill you and ban you from any of my future games.

 

3. If anyone has an RL emergency, I expect others to understand and play in the spirit of the game.

 

4. I love aggressive playstyles, so beat the grass to startle the snakes all you like. Criticize gameplay, call each other names and joke about anything to do with this game. Do not ever make it personal - this is a game. Do not get overly emo about another player - this is a game. As always, if you do find yourself having taken offense to another player, PM me immediately. I will fix the problem.

 

5. This is a PG-13 site. The use of profanity, sexual innuendo, references to drinking copious amounts or taking part in activity that could be considered "wholesome" is absolutely appreciated by all of the twisted little minds that lead otherwise boring lives. Just keep it in-between the lines.

 

6. If you suffer from arachnophobia, you may not want to play this game.

8. When I send out instructions, I do so without even considering that they wouldn't be followed. Do not disappoint me.

 

9. The source material is flavor. I always use original material as source material because I can make it fit the scenes exactly, but it is all for flavor. You don't have to read the scenes to play. But they will be awesome, so you should.

11. I will run strict 72 hr. days and 24 hr. nights. I really encourage folks to move faster than this - I hate waiting 24 hrs for that one crappy NA to come floating in, but I will. at 24 hrs and 1 second, you will have lost your action.

 

12. By signing this waiver, you release me of any responsibility pertaining to future therapy you may need in regards to spiders. Or piranhas. Or headhunters. Just sayin'.

 

13. I expect your full attention and participation. if you're not enjoying the game, you're not doing it right.

THIS IS NOT A NORMAL MAFIA GAME.

 

It is Town vs. Mafia, and normal play will stand. However, one significant dynamic has been altered. But you'll figure that out soon enough.

Except for these:

 

KIDNAPPER - 3 shot vig who chooses the method of death and is awarded a naaaaasty death scene for each.

TORTURER - Once per night, you may choose any player and you will learn their role and alignment, and any information they have gained during the game.

SHADOW - Once per night you target any player. Should any other player target the player you have, their NA will fail.

THIEF - Once per night, you may choose a target and any NA they have will be nulled. Any information they would have gained will be yours.

MIRROR - Any NA used on this player will be used on the sender instead.

TRACER - Once per night, you may target a player. If they are using a NIght Action, you will learn when they have used it through the entire game

Well I'm delighted that you asked - always the clever one!

 

As it stands, the mafia team you are fighting is the one present on this thread. The one you are trying to defend so that you can win is on the other thread. With this many players, I figured it was only fair to let both sides have at one another for a bit. Then, when the population has, er, declined, I'll merge the threads and we'll finish up on thread 3. This way just has so much more killing...

 

A wise and studious player would keep track of both threads, though, as your nemesis may reveal themselves and you never know what you may learn.

 

For instance, until someone asks the question you did, they won't get this answer.
