Hello everybody. It is already past my bedtime today so it will be tomorrow before I can get all the way caught up and give some thoughts.

Oh well, decided it was morning.

 

I think safe to say the mafia is out there. At some point I'll see if I can do a case too, when more can be known. Haven't noticed anything new yet. Of course hard for a first day. Considering the time still has not started, this has developed nicely. Thyme and rhyme for the first day. I think I should go back to bed now, I'm certainly not thinking of anything new now.

 

Bold: Really? We never would have known.

Italic: In other words, when someone gives themself enough rope to hang themselves with, you'll be sure to point it out.

FOS GF for a seriously odd post. He's played before, and this whole post just seems way off to me.

Bold: Well, it is enough that you do now.... Is the 'we' by chance referencing a mafia team?

Italic: It may well come to that, but I will try.

Purple: I think sleepy, when the next wisest thing that popped into my head was rhyming things. Though I suppose that did imply me contemplating on the why-fry thing.

Starting to think from how the competing trains coalesced so "naturally" that Ithi could be mafia. Not sure though. Rand and Ithi are both good lynches imo.

I noticed that weird switch on Ithi as well. Plus, while his case on Rand wasn't bad, Rand is kind of an easy player to case tbh, since he gets defensive easily and is constantly speaking in wifom.

My best leads are Womby and Ithi for those exact reasons. Rand hasn't struck me as scummy this game though his plays haven't been quite so... valuable as they could have been. Nonetheless, the push to get off Ithi and onto an easy lynch which is being backed by both players I have a scum read on says to me that he is a scapegoat. Doubly so for their weak reasoning which has essentially equated to "throw some BS reasoning at Rand, watch him flail, see what can be stuck to him from his flailing".

Have you seriously never thought of editing quotes to just show the pertinent information?

 

I agree that lynching me won't be a total waste, because at the moment we are playing mostly blind - there is always valuable information gained from a Lynch. It will be a Town lynch however and not a Mafia. I'd rather lynch a Mafia though and play a little bit longer myself.

 

I think Rand may have been told to 'shut up' by his team. I still don't like Despo either, but then I've never liked him. I still don't like his empty post and am considering checking all the day one posts of his most recent games here on DM to see if he always made an initial vote or not, because I'm sure he usually does. I think Lily either piped up because my attention went to Rand and she is covering for him by buddying up to Despo, or I was just an easy target.

Do we think the Mafia are the top posters, or the lurkers in this game? I'm mentioning this because I can't just keep repeating my initial thoughts, that is very dull indeed. As Ithi pointed out, Rand seems to have been gagged, so I'm seriously considering moving my vote. As it is, I'm going to unvote, because Ithi is seeming more town to me now than she did yesterday.
