I doubt Darthe is scum to be honest.. Even if his actions appear slighty "untownish" doesn't mean he is scummy. I have doubts that scum would try to initate a train based on such a weak reasons..

 

Although I really dislike the List thing Darthe made.. I reeeaaallllyyyy dislike such things, it's so easy to "make a mistake"..

Back to my original vote considering the claim. It may be convenient though that he viewed Mynd last night and Mynd died. Although..Mynd is probably a likely day 1 viewing target in any game. Will have to think about that a bit. We still had 2 others who looked to defend EP during Mynd's little game.

Okay I just have to quickly say, I am reading a bit at work and this is driving me crazy. First because you imply that voting you is a mistake in a mafia game and second because you say that you doubt I'm scum right AFtER I claim...

I don't particularly care for the snark and supposed "drunk mafia" going on in this game. Besides, there seems to be very little actual casing going on these days. That and Real life is also crazy (husband got deployed for a week long thing to protect the VP after we got back from camping and had to get stuff). I've been following as I can, but as I said in my first statement, it's not exactly play inspiring.

 

I really like how Peace has ignored my comments in my regards to his accusations, and the one's I have made about him. I feel you have a weak case against me, and I don't believe Darthe has made any thing against me at all except for the fact that I'm not overly active and "bandwagoning". Which might be because I get called out every time I make a post.

 

Now my thoughts.

 

The people sticking out to me :

 

Nyn - Pretty quiet this game, however not afraid to still call people out for reasoning, but still nothing to heavy when she does post.

 

Nae - Was very very against Mynd (mostly because he was being a jerk face) however I feel a little like she was abusing her "bulldog" nickname to make it seem ok. However going so hard against a townie who is now dead does make her look bad, and would be a stupid move on a mafia members part.

 

Arez - I REALLY don't like how he mostly bounces from quite to spammy. The one time he got called out on, he jokingly shoved it away, like "you don't want to do that" or "you radar is broken". It almost seemed to mild in a defense. Darthe also just laid off of him when he did those joking things. He got out of any real pressure and seems to be largely ignored.

 

Peace - For his weak casing against me, and ignoring my comment about how accommodating he started being to Mynd about half way through night phase. His case was poorly put together, and I was able to address his twisted statements, and comment about me defending EP by saying he was acting weirdly calm. (which he never replied to) Other than that, I haven't seen anything else from him. He seems to go with bandwagons rather easily.

 

Kae - I feel she is only spamming too, no casings, no real reasoning. I feel like she was quiet for a large portion and still isn't fully in the game aside from when people are drunkenly posting.

 

My vote is leaning towards Arez and Peace at the moment.

I'm not sure what you mean by being accommodating to Mynd..maybe you can explain that better. But Mynd flipped town and EP flipped scum. You defended/accommodated scum.

 

All I said was you were 1 of 3 people to defend someone who turned up scum. At the time..that is what I saw as the scummiest actions to date. A place to start hunting. Not necessarily where my final vote will end up. You've brought this up several times. Why are you so worried about 1 vote? No one joined me either time I've voted you.

This reads weird to me. Almost as if asking for a counterclaim. Obviously we all won't want to keep our vote on a claimed finder...

ishy was acting weird, but he WAS playinbg Drunk Mafia. maybe he got his games or people mixed up? whatever the explanation he comes up wwith when he finally returns, Darthe has not voted me like he said he would. realised that you had nothing, did you?

 

And giving Ishy a free pass for Drunk MafiaTM? Sorry, no. I love my Bonded and all, but I agree with Tina (I think she's the one that brought this up first) that free passes due to that are no and you look sus for suggesting it.

By asking Mynd if you would like to do something for him based on a suggestion of his BEFORE we even knew if he was scum or not (especially since he was being watched so much and causing so much drama) seems like you were #1 ok with aligning your self with him and #2 falls under being "accommodating".

 

As for my supposed defending of EP, I've already explained myself. Being hard headed and disregarding my explanation gets you no where. The more I repeat myself the more fodder it gives weak cases like yours an excuse to call me defensive.

 

As for being worried for one vote, See above. I'm not. It's scummy to reply to your case, yet, it would be scummy to ignore you.

Darthe being cop makes what he said that I pointed out and asked him about make more sense now... He said Mynd was out in the open now or something to that effect.. meaning because of Mynd's actions that was who he was going to view? -shrugs- Anyways... for now I'll believe you.

 

All the spam and slowness of the game is messing with my reads on people but I'm leaning Ishy right now. I didn't like his reactions to the whole Mynd deal and spamming more than anything all game.

Ok, I've compiled my cross check list like I stated yesterday I would do.

On my read through..of the players who voted Nolder these 3 seemed to defend EP specifically by all saying he seemed to have a calm reaction to Mynd's proposal and vote on him.

Tina takes a close look at Darthe. Darthe’s response wasn’t all that reassuring in my opinion. Nyn also votes Darthe, and puts reasoning behind it.

 

This is Peace’s second post of the day, which I think is the one that he was actually referring to here and here, and I quoted part of it above. Peace, by your view of things, was that the only way Darthe was defending Firebird?

And I wouldn’t say that Tina was piggybacking your reasoning. You only pointed out the comments about “calm” which she didn’t even mention. Trying to make ourselves seem more important/town?

And just because it was Drunk Mafia^TM doesn’t mean we should discount it. In one of the early Drunk Mafia^TM games Ishy was scum and voted someone during drunk mafia (the person he actually wanted to vote when sober) and then in the Mafia QT he said something along the lines of “and they think nothing of it because I said it when I was drunk! Mwahaha!”

Now, I can’t tell if you are getting panicky because you actually are a power role or because you are mafia.

Well..that clears up your question. Just to clarify and to keep you from putting words in my mouth this is exactly what I said:

So..obviously I didn't say "Sure, would you like me to get on that?" as you pointed out.

 

Your point #1: Aligning myself with Mynd? I was listening to someone who was pushing for a proven scum lynch. That made him more likely town. (did not clear him completely at the time.) His statement made sense. And, if you were paying attention I posted my results when day arrived after Mynd flipped Town. Seemed to me he was on to something because he was NK'd. Why Nk Mynd when so many were looking to lynch him even after the whole EP mess?

 

Point #2 See point 1 as it's pretty much addressing the same thing. I was not being accommodating, I was scum hunting.

I agree, but early day 2 no one is going to be screaming I'm scum and we have to start pushing somewhere and see if we can stir up telling discussions.

 

Tina just pointed out something interesting about Player, and someone also mentioned that Pale has yet to post. The one thing that worries me about being a townee in these games is that we tend to beat each other up and the lurkers(scum) sit back and ride the wave. There are active lurkers too like Arez who chime in with ambiguous statements and vote for strange reasons, then disappears.

 

I'm not saying there aren't scum actively participating..but it is something we should consider.

I'm weary of going after inactive people, only because this is how I feel it works out:

 

Inactive people - like super quiet people are often town. most likely to not have a role, so they don't feel they are "needed".

 

Mildly inactive people - who post juusstt enough to vote and be remembered are likely to be scum (I don't include people who have posted loa before the poof)

 

the normal people who post a couple times a day, or when they do post they make good long posts.

 

the spammy people - noobs, and/or scum - both of which hurt the town by making it harder to re read and swim through pages of nonsense

 

Super crazy in your face people - also likely to be scum, because who would ever think the person calling from the rafters in plain sight would be scum.

 

Lynch trains that start up on inactive people who turn out to be scum ping me because they can be a great scape goat for mafia to A) look innocent because they killed scum, and B) get rid of an inactive player anyways.
