Deep beneath the waves of the ocean, a great beast stirs. Its green form moves, shifting the sands of the ocean floor, as it opens its great maw. No sound comes out, no waves move, nothing else happens. As the beast settles back down to its slumber, let us move to the surface.

 

Back on the mainland the birds are chirping, the dogs are barking and the humans are meandering but at the same moment the great beast opened its maw, the world stops. Birds stand quiet, dogs stop barking and humans stand stark still. They hear nothing. See nothing. Nothing is out of the ordinary. But one thing keeps ringing through their mind. It is the sound of madness, the sound a call, the sound of both salvation and destruction.

 

This lasts for but a second before the world returns to normal. But the birds chirp faster, the dogs bark louder and the humans move with more purpose. Almost as if to remind themselves that their end is not yet neigh. It only grows closer. One person remembers this sound though, one person sitting infront of a computer who is typing furiously. Over and over he repeats these words. 12-13 days. Over and over and over and over...
