The question is will the Mafia continue to target inactives?  Or will they go after someone who is too close for comfort?  I would make suggestions on who to protect, but that would simply tip off the scum as to who might be unprotected.   :-\

After Al Jenn's PR came back as one I was thinking yours was fake. Now we know there are more abilities out there then we thought. I wonder how many one time abilities are being handed out as well. Well, you all got your wish. Cairos is still alive. He never did give us any information from his last nights viewing. He is also now in Hawaii. So, unless he logs on he probably won't get a chance to get a viewing unless he turned it in to Lily early.

I agree this is lame. So is going against townies with who lost their ability, but have a one time shot.

 

Do you noobs know what the Kivam gambit is? Do you know who the other player was in that gambit? Now, does Al Jenn and Talya's fighting take on a new aspect? Makes me wonder I know I am. If she were  mafia she would know just who to put pressure on and who to make you all think is guilty.

Marta has some 'splainin' to do and so does Cairos.  Unless I have missed something somewhere(Which is always a possibility) then he has neither provided any useful info, nor has he explained why he has no useful info. 

 

Again, I am not delving through everything so if anyone knows differently I'll stand corrected, but there is something fishy there. 

 

We need to be mindful of the bandwagons.  We can't just jump when someone says to.  Often times bandwagons are led or guided by Scum.  BUTT!!! (Hehe....I said butt), we cannot afford another random or modkill lynch.  Start brainstorming people.  Let's get on the same page here.

I'm getting a bit fed up with people not voting, this is another time that we haven't got a lynch. We could have got some useful information from this, whether Min was Mafia or not. People seemed to reluctant at voting for Min, now either they were trying to make themselves look innocent if she turned up Townie or they were out to save their own. I still think that Marta's vote was the strangest of these. She votes for someone who has a town role and gives no explaination. There has been no hint that something has happened to Adella, that would suggest she was scum! It seemed to take the heat off Min. Or it maybe that she knows something that we don't. I think other than Min she would give us the most info if she was lynched. But as a Town we need to pull together to get the scum, because at the moment we are way too divided.

 

The one thing I will say, is that I don't think we have a cult. With the deaths we have had so far there have been NO cults. That would make me think the Mafia would have some kind of recruiting role, especially in a game this big. Usually these things are limited and I would say to to one or two (thought this is Lily we are talking about). Now if you have that type of role who would you go for. If I was mafia I would go for the finding type roles in the game. As Mafia it is good to control the finders.

 

Now we have Min, who revealed on the first day, she looks to be a good recruit, and I thpought so until I had another thought about so many people didn't believe her, she seemed to dig holes for herself and make herself look scum form the word go, I would be surprised if they would touch her. Plus I don't think she would have revealed and lost her role as finder (or whatever the role was) if she was mafia, i can't see them wanting that. It would have been a way of manipulating the rest of us. However it doesn't mean that she wasn't or that she wasn't one to begin with. However the next day we end up with Two (one being brought back to life), Adella and Amadine. now this would be a good way to manipulte one through the other. I would imagine that if one had been recruited they would still act as thought the weren't with the other.

 

If I was mafia they would have been my targets. Of course we are assuming that the mafia can recruit, so this is still just thoughts running through my head. But we need to be careful about what people tell us about their roles.

Hey, I've been posting. Mostly hiding behind Adella from all the Townie linchings. It ain't gonna be me next. I do most of my posting at work as I am busier at home most times. lol That, and I'm also very bashful and end up deleting have my posts before I put them up as I don't like to look/sound like a fool.

 

But, if you want something from me, here you go. It won't be fare of me right now as the man is away but I am very curious about Cairos. If I have gathered things correctly this isn't his first town fair but he really hasn't been on here much. I suppose, to be fare and all, that most of the Sr.s here have been quiet too. So, I try to follow example. Just for some reason Cairos is off to me. Mostly, because I thought his personality type (that I have gathered) would have a lot more quirky little posts or jokes or any kind of involvement other than....mostly mute. So there. He is proclamed town and has some kind of ability and I can't find the post(s) that says what that is or why it is valuable. Again, at work with not too much time available. This is my first rodeo and I didn't know how much time was actually nececassary to participate appropriately. I think I said in one of my earliest posts that maybe I should have just read a long with one before starting and it looks like I may have been correct.

I am also suspicious of Marta, Cairos, and (sorry) Millon and Min. 

 

Marta has been a light poster, which could be a new player trait or could be trying to fly low.  The vote on Adella last round was more than odd.

 

Cairos has a lie detector claim.  He was blocked night 1.  He says he had no info night 2.  Which could mean any of the following:  he didn't turn in anything to look at, what he looked at proved someone innocent who he doesn't want to out, or what he looked at gave inconclusive or mixed results.  He may not have a night 3 action since he's LOA, but personally I think we have enough other mafia to hunt that leaving him alive is a good precaution since he may be telling the truth.

 

Millon I'm really unsure about.  He may be telling the full truth about how and why he's posting being a result of not wanting people to search him for scum tells.  But that may also be to hide the fact that he's mafia.  He did speak up quickly when asked why he's been quiet, so he's following the threat at least.  :)  I know I  play quiet and played scummy my first game even though I was town, so I tend to give new players some leeway.  I don't think I'd be ready to vote for him without more evidence. 

 

Min.  Min's been shoved through the ringer on this game from day one.  She's been pushed, pulled, prodded, poked, and persued from every angle for either scum tells or information to help the town, which pretty much amounts to the same thing when people don't like the information she has to give.  I could see her reveal and losing of her power being a last ditch effort to get people off her back and prove her innocence.  I could also see it as a way to get people to stop asking her to use her role because it's getting too hard to fake it.  Part of me wants to leave her alone because she's already done what she can to prove herself and for the most part I think her posts have been geared towards helping the town.  Part of me wonders if the people who are suspicious of her are seeing something I'm not.

 

I feel like my instincts in this game have been beyond terrible, hence the fewer number of long winded insights from me.

I called you millIon too.. and have been.  I didn't even notice there wasn't an i in there.  I stand by my theory I posted.  Talya, Verbal, Pete, and I are the "seasoned" players in this game.  I won't say experienced because I've seen new players who I think are FAR more gifted at this game than I am...

 

I found Marta's post odd too.  I don't know weather to chalk it up to a new person mishap, deflecting votes off of Min, or scumtell for her...

 

Cairos called a LOA but has been posting elsewhere on DM while ignoring the game.  I will say that his playstyle usually is fairly inactive with a random post here and there letting us know he is still among the living.  I love you Cairos, but you have an irritating habit of just barely being active enough to prevent yourself getting modkilled.  The problem is.. he does this no matter if hes innocent or mafia so no idea there.

 

Talya started out pretty neutral and now is gunning after people.. first Al... rightly so.. and now Min.  I'm tempted to think that might mean she's had an alignment change midgame.  It's definetly not enough to go on.. especially since she nailed it with Al.  It could be a gambit... she IS the other half of the Kivam's gamit after all.. but I don't know and it seems we've lost all of our finder people.

Good points Pookie.  I'm so overwhelmed keeping up with three games and trying to keep who I think is what where when there are several people in multiple games. :p  I'm joining the wagon of "I am never doing more than two games at a time ever again."

I would say that the highest profile targets right now are Marta/Cairos/Pete for inactivity laced with odd behavior(ie Marta's vote and Cairos getting nothing with his LD ability).  Either of those can be explained....whether or not they are believed is the key.  Pete is driving me up the wall with his low level activity this game.  How many games are you playing right now? 

 

Also high up there (but again explainable behaviors) are Min and Talya.  Min for being overly defensive, Talya for being overly aggressive.  Not really exacting indicators of scumminess, but activity (and a lack of) breeds suspicion....thus the nature of Mafia. 

 

I only have a few games under my belt....but given the high level of success by the scum right now, I wonder strongly if they are hidden among the low activity players.  It would be simple to add a middle to late bandwagon vote, while letting the active players ping the crap out of each other on scum-dar. 

 

Don't write anyone out, but I get the feeling, AJ might have been the voice of the scum.  Almost like a sacrificial lamb to draw suspicion.  As scum he would know which low-key players to cast suspicion on to protect the other scum.

Modspeak - I heard from Pete last night. We IMed with him using his phone and he posted here briefly (but not in his own game.) His Internet has been down. It gets fixed today, but he's busy for the weekend. He'll try to get some posting done tomorrow, if he can. If so, it will probably be in his own game - they are waiting for it to be morning. Otherwise it will be Monday.

I'm still waiting on Marta. I know that she get's on at work most of the time, and thus it would be pretty hard for her to catch up on mafia, but I know that is not ALWAYS the case. Marta dear, I love you, but that was THE scummiest thing I've seen all game, and if you don't defend yourself, I'm afraid I at least will be thoroughly convinced of your scumminess come day..

 

Also, I vote that we don't pay attention to Al Jenn. He is trying to control the game from the outside, and influence us how he wants us to go. No offense, but I'm just not stupid enough to listen to some scumbag (love you still Al). We have no real way of knowing where the truth is and the lies are in his statements, and I'm sure there are both. So lets think based off of our own proof rather than some scum trying to get his team to win the game.

I don't even know who yours is. So how did you lose your ability? Just by telling us you're the lie detector?
