this dude is a brilliant actor. he could do everything Thom is known to excel in.

He grayed early. He's in his 40's. It would be easy to leave a little gray and dye the rest. He's about 6' 2". He was evil as Cain and killed many people and liked it. I think he could do Lan very well. Tall, imposing, blue eyes.

Yeah, he's really a hottie. I'm telling you, he could do Lan. I've watched him in multiple roles and he can play serious, stern, and scary, if he needs to.

I would have to agree, from the first time i met Tom he has always been Sam Elliott in my mind, hubby agrees too

I can see it! If they aged him properly, he would do an amazing job. Would be interesting to see him with mustaches...

As much as I can't get enough of Elliot and really would love his charisma to represent Thom, NPH would be the wiser choice.

Lan. From the first time I picked up WoT, I imagined this guy as Lan. Mostly because the picture on the TEOTW cover reminds me of him.
