Something about the whole Lily exchange with Zander, Nolder voting Lily for it and unvoting her with just an explanation from her. And, Alanna being dragged into it by Sooh. There is definitely a bad one in this exchange,

Well, you did say you had played here before, and my vote on you was my welcome and hello.

Calling you out on it was however a reaction test.

But, uh? Reaction testing on someone you have never played with?

That's a bit [v]Sooh[/v] level play.

There's such a thing as generic reactions, which is what I was looking for. If you couldn't test for reactions on players you haven't played with before, what do you then do to gauge them?

Day 1 is a whole 'nother ball game when you don't know people's meta. It's kind of refreshing actually.

This is a question that needs answering. Also high five on the avatar.

I like Sooh's approach here. She doesn't know anything about me or my meta. So she pokes at me to learn more. Day 1 is all about the subtle pokes and seeing how people react. Underreactions and over reactions are the only meat we really have to go on.

@Turin - I noticed the same soft claim thing but was kind of sitting on it to see if Zander was going to bring it up again or make a big deal out of it again. It always is fishy to me when people bring up claims so early either way, but not knowing meta wasn't sure what to make of it.

I think I'm willing to [v]Zander [/v] for now for this reason. Good as any at this point.

You imply I thought you were going to make a big deal out of it and I was waiting for it to happen. On the contrary, if you never brought it up again that has different implications as well. No smoking gun either way, but clues to something. Something for my notes list at least. However, Turin brought it up again and it was going to get responded to anyway. So I thought I'd poke a little harder since it was brought up and see where it leads.

I can see a few major possibilities here, one of which is Mafia with good fake claim itching to use it. There are some good town reasons for you to do this as well.

As it sits, you got defensive over a single vote/prod.

It's the timing and also I don't agree with your vote.

Your vote on Alanna came right after Zander's but with enough time between to make me think it wasn't just a coincidence or fluke.

I also don't agree that Alanna seems to be pushing a scummate's case...or any case really she just said Eldrick seemed awkward.

If she had voted maybe I'd agree but she didn't.

To me it looks way more likely that you and Zander would be scummate's who distanced and then jumped on the same person than it does that Alanna and Sooh are scummates.

Its forced and redundant? I doubt if you felt that way you'd "agree" with half it especially the part where you "claim" that I said Eld comes off more awkward cause I dont say that AT ALL in my post.

Would you have felt differently if I had added lolololololol to it?

What was "elaborate" about it....that you thought I actually thought them "claiming" to be mother and son was a gambit??

My reading comprehension is fine. It sounded like you were implying that they were using something from sign up (ie Lily saying she'd vote Eld cause he's her son) as a gambit. I wasn't totally clear on what you meant as whole (going on about setting up a claim or whatnot) but the post read serious. So if you're saying that you were joking, that's fine. But, #realtalk, don't adopt this attitude that it's all on everyone else, You weren't clear. Own up to it and don't dump it on everyone else, amkay? Good.

Fair enough but I have to play differently now to adjust for my style that was annoying people. So in doing so to appease others, yes I have to try to convey things in a manner that people can understand but I also expect others to make a concerted effort to try and work with me and meet in the middle.

I agree with BG. Playing day 1 without knowing people's meta is fun. I have played with some of you before, but I have a really bad memory, so I don't recall your meta.

I enjoyed the BG/Zander exchange. Not ready to form an opinion just yet. Do we always get into real content this quickly on DM now. I like it. But I'm not really used to it.

So after a reread with CoryGOAT, here is where I am atp:

BFG- More active then Id expect as a wolf!BFG atp

Alanna- I didnt hate her response to my question. I'm more worried about her atp then Cory is.

BG- Null and dont know him really. Want to hear his response to my question.

Nolder- I think we came back weird for just about every post of his. But Nol posts weird so Null

Turin- Here for now. Wanna see some more content before passing judgement as I was wrong on him in the last game.

Pral- Need more to go off of.

Lily- This is one spot were kinda were I differ from Cory he has her higher and has more experience with her then me as I have none. But I wasnt a fan of her switching off her votes as soon as questions arose.

Eldrick- Feels very forced

Sooh- Sooh is sick but I feel like after last game Sooh should be Town telling better atp. Also something I noted was her Null stance on Eld. May be nothing but where I have them both scummy its something I noticed.
