Hello all,

This game will be open set up and have the following basic roles:

Team Town
3 Vanilla
1 Black Hat: No role is revealed upon death. They will not be told they are the Black Hat.
1 White Hat: Role is always revealed upon death. They will not be told they are the White Hat.
1 Hunter: If the last two players are the hunter and mafia, then town wins. Upon death, the hunter has a mandatory brutal.
1 Day Priest: As long as the day priest lives, the role of any player killed during the day is revealed.
1 Night Priest: As long as the night priest lives, the role of any player killed at night is revealed.
1 Aux Seer: Each night the Aux Seer may view a player to find out if that player is the mimic or cultist. On N0 the Aux Seer receives a random negative result.
1 Seer: Each night the Seer may view a player to find out if that player is mafia. If the player is mafia they will receive a positive result. On N0 the Seer receives a random negative result.

Team Mafia

Werewolves
1 Black Hat Werewolf: No role is revealed upon death.
1 Shaman Werewolf: As long as the Shaman lives all roles will be revealed to him and consequently his team, including the mimic.
1 Brutal Killer Werewolf: Has a mandatory brutal upon death.

Auxiliary Mafia
1 Mimic: Each night the mimic may view a player to find out their role. When killed, the Mimic may reveal as any role he has viewed but he must have viewed them. On N0 the Mimic will learn the identity of a random villager that is not the black hat or white hat, but this will not count as a view. If the Mimic decides to reveal as a Day Priest, no roles will be revealed the day he/she dies. If the Mimic decides to reveal as the Night Priest, no roles will be revealed the night he/she dies. If the Mimic decides to reveal as a white hat, then he/she will reveal as such regardless of the status of the priests. If the Mimic decides to reveal as a black hat, then he/she can decide not to reveal.
1 Cultist: Learns the identity of mafia players on N0.

Town Win Condition

Town wins when all werewolves have been eliminated.

Mafia Win Condition

Mafia wins when the werewolves gain parity with non-wolves.

The Werewolves will be given an NK and a chat room.

If a brutal isn't on a player, then it will be randed between ALL living players when the hunter or brutal werewolf dies.

Every player will get a thematic super power with their role pm. These super powers can not be claimed.

Standard Rules (Including but not withstanding):
No editting
No quoting your role pm
Do not post outside of the game thread about the game unless given permission
(I'll add more as I think them up)

The length of the day night cycle is yet to be decided.
The Game starts when 15 players have signed up.

Player List:
Cancelled.

I'm guessing it's like a vengeful mechanic.

Sili, where did you get this setup from?

BGG. You can find the game thread here: https://boardgamegeek.com/thread/1286466/15-player-fun-game-d1-first-lynch-tuesday/page/1

Define Brutal please.

A person with a brutal picks a player. When the brutal player dies, the player they picked also dies simultaneously.

A village brutal has the added benefit that they win every 1v1 (f2)

Does the Mimic know who the werewolves are?

So only the WWs count towards parity though there is 5 Mafia total? That's interesting.

I'll /n

I've really only got the bandwidth for smaller and simpler games.  Sorry, Sili.  I just don't want to sign up and not give you a good effort.

The mimic does not know who the werewolves are at the start of the game, but mimic may view them as the game progresses.

edit: as an addendum, the werewolves don't know who the mimic or the cultist is.

When does the brutal have to pick their target?

The hunter or brutal werewolf can specify a target whenever they want, and they may change their minds up until their death.

Lenlo 2.0 signing in.

Im still rather confused as to some of the mechanics, but I look forward to it

Yeah, no problems. It is actually really complicated and I don't know what the response will be, but I hope you all have fun.

fwiw I had fun when I played it.

No worries. Feel free to change your mind though.

I already took a gamble signing up for two slow-filling games and really don't want to run the risk of finding myself in three at the same time. :\

Can you add me as a backup?

I also don't really understand this setup, but probably I'm just being dumb

Can I check; the cultist is more like a symp that knows the ID of the mafia and doesn't have a nightly convert?

Black hat/white hat are effectively vanilla with flip stuff?

If the day/night priest dies but shaman is still alive mafia will be told in their QT/PM the flips of the players?

When you say that a black hats role will be hidden, do you mean that if the day/night priest are alive they'll flip as

"player X died"

"player X died and is town"

"player X died and is VT" (guessing mot this )

If it's the latter 2 I'm not sure I understand the purpose of the role, if it's the first does that mean that if the priests dies that alignment info is hidden from the flip?

Do the 'brutals' pick their target during each night?

Are the 'superpowers' just flavour?

Think that's all, for now anyway

it's very different than what we're used to.

i think you could describe the cultist like that.

black hat and white hats are 'vanilla' in the sense they have no active prs.

if the black hat dies they will flip as "player X died"

And yes, if the priests die then town does not see the alignment info of any player that dies.

Brutals pick their target whenever they want, but it won't matter until they die.

Superpowers are just flavor.

I should probably read the setup/rules at some point, huh?

Im not going read them again until it starts, cause I need all the room in my brain for my tests this week.

Also id probably forget the rules by then.
