To be fair, if Crusher is scum Nolder could've easily fed him the fake claim. He's into all game set up making so probably had an extensive list of roles and their variants.

Funny thing is Corrycurren did NOT allow Nolder back into the scum thread after he died.  Was just me and TNTINA.  Never saw that before.  We always allow dead scum back into scum thread at JN.

Personally I prefer it that way if game is "serious" because in theory each person can contribute to coming up with fake claims, plans, picking the right kill, etc.

Just like people who are night killed shouldn't be allowed to sub into games.

 

If game is just "for fun" then it's all good. It's definitely more fun to let mafia stay since it can get lonely after all your teammates die.

 

These days I usually give mafia the option to stay or pass on to the dead thread.
