So I was thinking. Why would the mafia kill Desbat. I mean we never really talked about it. Just carried over reads from the previous day as if the kill didn't really happen.

 

Theory one: to set up Desbat's targets for a lynch

 

Theory two: since Des was the only one who could game the #alliance with any measure of a record of success in general game play, maybe they wanted him out early. Desbat, Cory and Tommy have basically echoed each other's reads so why shoot there instead of the other two if the scum was trying to frame up Desbat's reads.

also, another thinking i want to point out.  Cory & Yates have been the main leaders on the wagons each day, and each day townies have been the wagons (myself, Mishtress and now Mynd, with them expressing intentions of speed lynching Nol during N1)

 

 

gut says that yates & aj/cory are scumsters.  that either Dawn or Krak are scumsters as well (given the poking aj/cory is doing with them as well)  i dont think both dawna nd krak are scum, but i do think one of them is.  Dawn pings more out of the two currently.

A question that is bothering me though about Yates.

Why would you claim Vig now? Despite your ramblings about roles, why did you come forward today? What pro-town purpose does it serve to come forward?

I'm glad you asked. Let me explain some things that will make sense to the one or two of you confused about why I would claim Vig today.

First, we needed an immediate end to the discussion about the alignment of the 2nd kill. We don't need the distraction and you started down that path.

Next - We have a claimed BG in Red. Most of us don't believe the claim. That's cool. It doesn't matter. Now Red has someone she HAS to protect now. Me. If I turn up dead tomorrow, Red gets turbo lynched. No questions asked. So if Red is scum? I just became unkillable to scum. They can't kill me without exposing Red, right? Boom. If Red dies protecting me tonight? Then guess what? She just got vetted by DOING HER JOB. That's the only reason you have a BG in the game.

Finally - I want you all to pay attention to this part. It's important. This is "Vig 350 - Advanced Vigging" and I want you to understand how future kills will go down. An outed vig should always make this clear"

- If our lynch today flips Town - I'm going to vig the most suspicious person ON that wagon.

- If our lynch today flips Scum - I'm going to vig the most suspicious person OFF that wagon.

Here's why you make this clear: scum is now motivated to bus and discouraged from piling on to a mislynch. Imagine you are scum and one of your buddies is already on a Town wagon. Do you hop on to help out thus increasing the odds that at least one of you will be killed? Are you a secure enough town read with the vig to survive in the first place? Is your scum partner? Now imagine you are scum and a wagon is forming on one of your buddies. Apply the same logic. Do you have enough Town credit to NOT be the person on your buddy's wagon?

I really hate this hedging post. Cloud's OP was pretty bad, Amega's vote on me yesterday was bad, and this post that FOS's Red but votes for Mish... the person Red was avoiding voting for... shows a lapse in logic. Possibly a scummy lapse!

The alliance is in full swing this game. Cory has explained before that they kinda auto clear each other D1 then start watching for tell. (thats how i interpreted his explanation). That VERY much seems to be what has happened here. Mynd and Red have disagreed with them and they have closed ranks and ganged up on them. This annoys me. I dont like having an alliance within the game. I have seen Des get blinded by his bromance before.

What Mynd did so far was to ask people to concentrate on hydras. He repeatedly asks for reads on hydras. What I did not see(it may have slipped me by) were his reads on hydras. Firstly all this talk about whether hydras have more scum or whether they are more benficial to scum are anti-town. Why? Because it distracts town from processing what everyone said and finding scum. This is what mafia wants.

 

Also you are all talking with the assumption that hydras are all mafia. Hydras are just one character. They have as much as chance as anyone to be town or mafia.

Right; they're no different than other players. Mynd has been arguing that they are more dangerous than a non-hydra player and using that as a reason to focus on them. It's factually incorrect, but has become a huge talking point because Mynd keeps bringing it up as if it's a really good strategy.

 

 

 

Blue   but they are a little. they have a QT and can work together to plot and achieve an end. that does make them a little different just like it does masons. Ordinary town players don't have somewhere to go and bounce ideas off someone or strategize except the thread.

 

If a hydra is town-there are 2 players to strategize, bounce of ideas or somewhere to go-that is to the other player they are sure is town-there hydra teammate. So it benefits both town and mafia equally.

Firstly all this talk about whether hydras have more scum or whether they are more benficial to scum are anti-town. Why? Because it distracts town from processing what everyone said and finding scum. This is what mafia wants.

 

Also you are all talking with the assumption that hydras are all mafia. Hydras are just one character. They have as much as chance as anyone to be town or mafia.

If a hydra is town-there are 2 players to strategize, bounce of ideas or somewhere to go-that is to the other player they are sure is town-there hydra teammate. So it benefits both town and mafia equally.

The alliance is in full swing this game. Cory has explained before that they kinda auto clear each other D1 then start watching for tell. (thats how i interpreted his explanation). That VERY much seems to be what has happened here. Mynd and Red have disagreed with them and they have closed ranks and ganged up on them. This annoys me. I dont like having an alliance within the game. I have seen Des get blinded by his bromance before.
