So not that you think the Lock clear people are Town - but the none Alliance/Lock Clear people are more likely to get Lynched earlier on in Games regardless of whether they're Town.

 

I think it's a bit blinkered - but it's kind of how I am with Turin so I understand kind of. You don't want to kill off strong fun players too early so you lock clear them for deeper looks later on.

 

When it's just one person I guess it's not too bad - but when it's a whole bunch of people, and you're not one of those people, it basically means you're more likely to get offed early game.

 

I don't recall you being mean to Turin though.

 

Yeah, I will always try to lynch the scummiest player Day 1 - it doesn't matter who they are.

 

I have barely played with anyone this forum and probably the biggest impact I had this game was consistently moving suspicion away from Hallia - who I don't "know" at all in terms of meta.

 

It's not that I don't want to "kill strong players", it's just MUCH LESS LIKELY that a strong player is going to out himself Day 1. Town got a gigantic head start this game because Thane, who seems new-ish to Mafia and we all start with a couple rough games, had a great deal of trouble interacting with the thread as Mafia.

 

Generally, the easiest way to get a Day 1 lynch (IMO) is to find the Mafia's weakest link.

To say that because I like Despot or Tommy to the extent where I'd give them a free pass for no reason makes no sense. Am I going to pursue a Despot lynch Day 1? Probably not, because he's a damn good player and I heavily doubt he'll earn deserved suspicion on a Day 1.

Of course, I've tried to explain my feelings on this several times, but Turin just goes with "he has outside allegiances" and we get trollolol Day 1s.

I think that's the most powerful JOAT I've ever seen. Very cool.

 

The sooner errone quits being butthurt about LOCK CLEAR or #Alliance, the more fun we can have with some of our best new players to join since like ever.

I will continue to call out bad play on others parts when its something they do continuously in every mafia game. Turin tunneling on me every game is bad play. Until he learns to read me better or figure out how to not let his game suffer because of me being in it, I will continue to state my displeasure. And when I say it displeases me, I am being as sincere as possible. It saddens me because he DOES have a lot of mafia talent, bit sadly he never gets to display it anymore.

 

 

Overall tho it was an insanely fun game. This hydra concept was friggin awesome to run with, and I wanna thank Verbal for asking to partner up with me, had a lot of fun with him (and my LOCK CLEAR montages in our QT ), and thanks you so much to Csarmi and Chapel for running this game for us!

I thought AJ was super townie, I followed his logic and train of thought as well as anyone but you.

 

My townreads were pretty good this game - let's not talk about my scumreads

Really though.  We couldn't crack the easier teams because they had PR's that essentially vetted them and the tougher teams played really well =p  You all made this one a challenge from hell.  I am proud of Clouds' play and my own here but still this game is impressive for town.
