How come there are no games in signups?

There used to be a 'approved' list of balance checkers, but I think in a discussion that recently became more of a suggestion than a requirement.

 

Csarmi volunteered ages ago to co-mod and has pointed out one aspect that could be considered 'bastard' depending on how you define bastard, which may need to be cut (I value peoples enjoyment more than having the game as is right now), so I need somebody who'd be ok balancing a potentially strange setup.

 

Even if the setup changes the three things that won't; this will stay a small game (<13 players), it isn't kitchen sink, and theme is American Gods.

 

But I'll wait to hear from Verb before sharing the setup (just in case) with either of you :)

I define bastard as denying or manipulating information which the players have a reasonable expectation to.

This guideline can be more liberally applied if the players are informed before hand that some aspects of the game may be considered bastard.

For example I don't believe it's expected that a doctor be informed if their action failed. That is usually up to the discretion of the mod and wouldn't be bastard either way.

It would be bastard to refuse to tell the mafia team whether or not they could trust each other. I believe mafia have a reasonable expectation of trust unless indicated otherwise prior to the start of the game.
