Dude, this being an experimental game there are so many possible explanations for things that have happened. I don't think that Nica is scum because of her play, and she revealed that she has Dementor Access while there was very little pressure on her which I don't see a mafia doing at all.

i think the scum kill WAS held the night before last. Would be a smart play considering the discussion at that time.

 

I think nicana is mafia. hence why i commute her. me commuting stops a persons actions.

I actually think there is a possibility that mafia is holstering. Two possible reasons and I think either one means they are waiting for the right moment. First is that they could have more than just the single recruiting shot.It was not confirmed that wombat had a recruit in his host bag of tricks. If the recruiter is left it is possible they had to choose between killing and recruiting. With kills more likely to get them caught or fail they chose to recruit.

 

The second idea I have is that the last mafia is waiting for town to cull the herd. To me this would suggest someone who believes they are safely hidden amongst the town. Just waiting for their opportunity. The candidates there are Hallia(who RTE viewed visiting me), dice, cloud, peace, RTE and myself. I am confident that I am town. I viewed RTE as town last night, so that leaves peace, cloud and dice. I am suggesting that we lynch dice or cloud today and Nicana sets the dementors on peace tonight. Then we lynch the other of cloud or dice. That would leave me, RTE, and hallia who are the closest to confirmed without a coroner report.

 

Feel free to logic check this idea.

@Turin: Why do you think that Peace is town?

 

The recruit shot could also have been part of Wombat's JOAT role although I have never seen a JOAT who could recruit before. It would also make sense for Voldemort to be able to recruit someone else because he is the main villain and stuff.

 

I also don't find your theory about their being a Recruiter plausible because I don't see how this game could have been balanced with a 5 man mafia team including someone who can keep recruiting other players to their team. And if I had the ability to choose between killing and recruiting as mafia I would definitely have recruited from the start of the game. It just seems way too overpowered to me.

I viewed him as Prof. Lupin. I can't find another very good explanation for how Thorum got killed other than peace being a vig. I find the idea of mish targeting someone else to be a bit out there and for that person to be targeted for a nk to push believability.

 

In case you missed it I suggested to Nicana that she release the dementors on peace tonight. The reason I am currently singling out you and dice is that you can not be confirmed while you are using your ability. Dice is untargetable when commuting and you can swap onto anyone else to prevent a clean view.

 

At present I am leaning more towards you based primarily on your stance that you will not vote anyone other than peace. What would you have done if he was killso the way you have been swapping yourself most nights does feel more like you are avoiding detection than working for the towns interest as a whole. I would say you are the third rated night kill at best. Behind myself and hallia.

I have a very busy day today - what with a car to sell and another one to buy. Also having to find a bank to draw the money out of because my debit card had to be stopped as I lost my purse.

And to come back to this post for a moment. You mentioned that you thought it possible that there was a Recruiter in the game. IF there is a Recruiter (which I find very unlikely) then you are the prime recruiting target. I also don't like how you said "I am confident that I am town." It doesn't sound like you are completly sure that you are town... I also don't like how you suggest we send a Dementor after Peace tonight. I mean, if you want to kill him then why not just lynch him and be certain that he is dead? Why delay his death and give him the opportunity to just cast a patronum on himself? The longer this goes on the more time he has to weave even more ridiculous cases out of thin air.

You viewed him as Prof. Lupin, but you didn't view him as Town. There is a difference and he might be Lupin and third party (werewolf anyone?), or he could have been recruited like Basel, or he has some kind of role that made your viewing ineffective. Neither of these explanations would surprise me. So you find the idea of Mish targeting someone else while she knew Hallia would most likely protect you "a bit out of there" while you support the idea of a Recruiter??? I don't see the logic there, Turin. And to be frank I don't even care that you viewed him as Lupin. He has played scummy as hell and that means that he is mafia regardless of any character viewing. You also had plenty of opportunities to view me a second time, but instead you chose to view other players and never even gave me a heads up so I wouldn't switch myself with anyone else. You can't put the blame on me saying that I have been avoiding your viewing while you never gave me even the chance to prove myself.

@cloud. Part of my read is play based. I dont like how she said she would stop a lynch but then backflipped.  Fudge is not a character i would think of as town and just because she claimed him does not mean anything. It could be a very ballsy move counting on that very logic. And remember she could be someone else and just saying she is fudge. And partially i believe in my gut that she is mafia

 

@ Peace I think i was the one who said Rita would be 3rd party. However im not pushing that lynch as rita is useful atm. If we lynch scum today and the game is still not over then i will be looking at RTE.

Dice, I frankly don't remember much of your play. Of course that is possibly due to tiredness. Primarily I am concerned that you can't be verified.

Nicana, I can see fudge as town in 1-4. He got harry out of trouble with the one magic use incident. It wasn't until 5-7 that they tried railroading him in the dementor thing. Also, as MoM he would have dementor control.

 

Peace, I viewed him as what I view as a town character. The only way he is mafia is if he has been recruited. I agree that the recruiter is not the most likely situation. Therefore leaning town. Townies play scummy all the time.

 

Dice, mostly null read. Can't confirm due to role.

 

Cloud. Actions indicate he feels he is more important than rest of town. The self switching is bad IMO. It seems to me that you are working awfully hard to keep yourself safe. It is not town behavior in my view.

I don't feel like I'm important in this game at all, but it does look like I am the only one who is convinced of the last mafia member and that's why I don't like to get lynched today because I know that after I'm dead you guys will just forget about Peace. Just look at his previous post for example that I dissected, and then tell me straight up that you believe him to be town... You shouldn't put so much weight into the viewing and look at his play instead, and if you ignore the fact that I haven't been viewed but that I have proven to be the Bus Driver and have acted for the good of the town then you will see the same thing I'm seeing which is that Peace is the last mafia.
