You know, I didnt have a PS2 when these games came out and now I'm unsure of which games are important and which aren't. Cause the names of the games don't help AT ALL. Could someone give an overview of which of these games are spinoffs or frankly not as important? Obviously the original and 2 are important, but are the RE: games just remakes? What the heck is HD 1.5 Remix? and 365/2 days?

I'd say wikipedia the first two and you should be good, but I have no idea what Nol will incorporate.  With no character claims it does limit what we need to worry about though.

Chain of memories is a game happening between 1 and 2, re:chain of memories is a relaunch. Birth by sleep is a preaquel, coded, 358/2 days, dream drop distance, no idea, dream drop distance, HD1.5 remix is a HD version for the PS3 of 1, chain of memories and 358/2 days.

 

But this game I think is the first game, split into several games. Destiny Islands is the first part of the first game.

From what I get there is a guy that hangs out with Goofy and Donald Duck and look for evil persons. They kill Malificent but find out that some other evil dude controlled her. They lock him into some other world but then the first guy`s friend and Mickey Mouse get locked away too and then they have to find them. Something with Hearts... Is that correct?
