I don't agree with the train on Tress. She may not be as active, or am I, but at least she's contributing regularly to the game. There are others with lower post counts that haven't contributed as much. (I just started being more active). Also, as a head's up, I won't be as active the next two days. I'll be back at work. I will be online when I get home from work and during my lunch break if I am able.

Mafia is not solely about activity, this is a dumb defense of tress to be honest.

I think nolder's pile on with activity as the explanation looks bad for him, if you spin it that way, but it's the others that over justify their pile ons that I'm more wary of, in particular Basel who previously only wanted to vote Leelou.

I smell opportunism all over this train.

As with any fast building train as well, the thing is that sometimes it isn't opportunity, it is looking for a good reason to bus someone.

So, you think with 20 or so players left, that aggressive busing makes sense now? When we know there's only 4 scum in the game?

Right now, with how many people they have, its more important for them to lose one person and make it sure that others don't get caught, then either lose none or lose more on the possibility of not quick bussing.  From what we've seen so far, it looks like they are going to get more players, so if I were them, I would cut my losses, especially with how town is doing right now.

The FLIR camera flares to life, although the angle is not quite correct. The heat signature, however, is.

As it turns out, Rand is not on of the possessed.

On the other hand, no one is up for a bean burrito run either.

The crowd hurriedly leaves the room...

*ucking DM - you cannot see the fart-caught-on-FLIR link because DM doesn't allow it. Meh

I hate saying this... but I told you so. :P

Anyways, my suspicion remains on Tress, sad that she wasn't the one FLIRred

Fair enough Rand, regarding the busing. I just don't usually think it makes sense to try to spot bus votes until you know the alignment of the person those supposed bus votes were on. I agree with your logic though. Makes sense.

I normally would agree with you as well, but in this game, I feel circumstances are different, and I am trying as hard as I can to adapt to them I guess. :P

unvote vote Leelou

nicely done

Leelou begins to laugh. It slowly builds into a cackle and then goes off of the deep-end into insanity.

She doesn't stop until the soft pop of the vertebrae in her neck silence her for good.

LEELOU, POSSESSED, IS DEAD

THERE ARE 4 POSSESSED

with 16 players, it takes 9 to lynch

If my memory serves, the only time we haven't seen an increase in the number of possessed is when we lynched one, and since that should be a decrease, we've always seen an increase.

I forgot who said this, but I feel like it is even more important to emphasize this now.

If you get a kill, do not use it until the majority of the town decides who to use it against.  We will ensure that you get to use it in the time period provided.  If there is a FLIR view, we will first use the kill, and not waste a lynch.  We will only use lynches when there are no kills left for us as town to control.  That way, instead of having hit and miss kills, we basically just have more lynches for town to use, which makes the game balanced.

Nice job, town. For the record, I was the one who viewed Leelou. However, I was offline after sending it in until after the new hour began. As I recall, my vote was on Tress.

Vote Tress.

I do love being quoted.

I know. Something about you too Dap

Seriously though, your scumdar has been terribad lately. We need you bro.

Although we finally got another possessed...

ALL DEAD PLAYERS HAVE RISEN FROM THE GRAVE AND ARE BACK IN PLAY AS ZOMBIES.

Time to get another possessed. Vote Tress

You won't be getting one that way.

I'm getting very concerned that we're being led around by the nose. Going with my gut feeling here.

Vote Ape

I'm scum because I'm scumhunting, LOL

If you are town then you should see what I'm doing for what it is, relatively textbook scum hunting ... sit back and watch. I'm not "leading" anything, I'm just aggressive and willing to press on a situation to gain the chance to observe reactions / maneuvers. In this hour, you'll notice I'm following... following the people that dove into this hour after a scum death, assuming we could just "pick up where we left off" yesterday. That agenda kind reeks to me... especially when you look back at yesterday and how Leelou voted on you. It didn't resonate with me as a bus vote to be honest.

Right now RTE and his "let's get another one" and Crusher with his stealth vote are the biggest pings on your revitalized train... if you are town.

And yeah, so the opportunity to observe teh Tress train has come and gone... my take-away?

It's time to Unvote, Vote Crusher

I played this game for him. He's barely commenting on the game, barely participating, and doing everything he can to stay under-the-radar. I questioned him once and he popped up from nowhere with a defense. When he's town, he's usually got some bravado to him... he's playing coy, almost scared. IMO

@ Ape: You're being aggressive and vocal, yes, and pushing scumhunting in directions that haven't gotten us anywhere. The only possessed we have gotten so far have been from lucky viewings. We are getting very close to end game and haven't solved this thing, we've all been looking in the wrong direction as a group.

It's a gut feeling. My gut feelings are often enough right that I usually regret it when I don't follow up on them.

That said, if it's not you, Crusher is my next biggest concern. RTE I wouldn't be surprised if he's been converted. And there are some who have stopped saying much of anything who deserve a look.
