Tiink you said you ignored the d1 pass talk intentionally in the other game. That would mean you had to be aware. So I find it hard to believe you were unaware of the policy.

No. I noticed someone mention it and didn't care much for it because I didn't consider it important to me or my team. I was aware of it being around but didn't realize it to be an unwritten rule.

You mean because John Snow isn't on the scum team you're on, so it wouldn't be important or helpful for him to be kept alive on day 1?

If you use the word team in a basic game it can only mean so many things...

Really?

More than one team. Gah

Tiink your posts have been interesting but I think you are the best bit. My vote stays for now

What does anyone else think of snow's fishing?

Not discounting his other somewhat suspect posts..I didn't think much of that one.  I didn't see fishing.  I did see trying to dictate a move.  Maybe he is fearful the vig will target him night one.

When is the deadline Darthe?

We don't have one currently.  The game is moving.

Actually it's dying.  We've gone full on rehash mode.

Well, you have a player at L-1.  If things degenerate again I will set a deadline for about 48 hours or so.

Getting back into mafia? Me? I just started XD No 'getting back into' it for me.    I think the last couple of pages have basically just been going around in circles, rehashing the same arguments over and over.  We are getting some new opinions from previously quieter players, so it is serving a purpose at least!

@LZM - I wouldn't normally answer for Snow, but since you are asking, my read is that he was making a comment to be helpful to the newer players, especially if on eof them is the vig.

Also, for Tiink's defense, I find it so-so.  I also find it weird that he used separate posts to case and then vote for RTE.  However, I also really don't like RTE's response, because either RTE was hardcore skimming and didn't actually read Tiink's post or he is just pretending he didn't notice.  Either way is bad.

Why would I skim a couple of short posts? I just misunderstood. He was going back and forth between two games. Let's not start with this skim crap when you're referring to like 3 posts.

Finally, is it just me or is there some hardcore buddying going on between Dap and Andrej? Anybody else care to comment on this?

Noted but not surprised. Both playing aggressive scum hunters. Andrej is very much following the Dap model.

wow, just woke up to 5 new pages.

I was having DM issues last night, sorry I didn't say anything.

Turin, I haven't done your ISO yet? Odd, I thought I had. I'll get on that shortly, as well as a re-read.

Also, one thing I feel is noteworthy before night begins--imo, vig should not shoot tonight unless they or the cop end up revealing. They could shoot the cop, and that would just be bad. Anyone else have thoughts on this?

Promises promises...

As far as the attempt to direct the vig, I think it sounds like a mafia that thinks they know who the vig is and want to eliminate them before any of their team gets hit.

Dap, I hate to say it but you are looking a lot like I did in that mentor game.

okay, im only using the quotes that i think are the most important in my case...

Wtf is this giving people Day 1 free passes?

Vote Turin

already been discussed in length, at first was the major reason people voted for him...

Look, the people who think they're going to have a hard time have a mentor. The others think they can deal with the consequences. There isn't an excuse for acting scummy enough to get lynched. I'm very willing to give them the benefit of the doubt but I'm not going to let them scoot through no matter what. My original post was just a small stab which got turned into some over dramatic flare and while the argument was based off something unspecific to the game, I think we got something worthwhile out of it. AJ strikes me as town while Mish does not.

just about everybody acts scummy enough to get possibly lynched... what kind of argument is that?? saying that there's no excuse for acting scummy.... newbies act pretty scummy unintentionally... well at least most of them do... and when people go for a lynch extremely hard with "gut" feeling evidence as well as things that may have been misinterpreted, they're also considered scummy... everybody can technically be considered scummy until proven otherwise...

I didn't intend it to be a trap. The point was that if you were mafia then you wouldn't be concerned with your teammates turning on you.

I'm going to take this time now to say that the Basel game we just played was the first game I'd played on DM in a long while and was unaware that you guys had decided to go and make it an unwritten rule. Doesn't stop me from thinking it's a bad policy, but I wasn't "feigning ignorance".

BS. In the game we both just played in it was mentioned

Yeah, and as you should recall I was mafia so I DIDN'T G.A.F.

it was mentioned in the game and could've been used to mafia's advantage... yeah, they get a day 1 pass, but they're still kept an eye on... some of the things they may do is due to being new, and while keeping an eye on them, some people can tell the signs of them being scummy looking new town or scummy looking mafia.... and the whole "I didn't gaf" irritates me because newbies are important in every game...

Mish has gone quiet.

also already been pointed out... she mentioned she'd be going quiet for a bit before you posted that....

if somebody mentioned it though saying that they get a day 1 pass because they are new, normally it can be inferred that it's often used as an unwritten rule...

No Turin its simple math.

If big hits tonight, they have 1 flip to go on

Tomorrow night, they will have the NK another lynch and hopefully a cop and who he/she checked.

5 flips versus 1 flip. Obvious choice.

Also work stuff has come up, I'll get that Iso done as soon as I can
