Dam. Im loathe to vote mynd atm cuz he is playing to his meta. The whole mish and cloud debacle seems unjustified since there is no proof that they spoke to each other about the game outside of it. I always find peace scummy for some reason and am usually wrong.

 

Ishy seems to have made mention if tress an awful lot as his something or other related. So lets see where that leads us. vote trrss

He seems off his meta to me this game. Lot more aggressive, and I've never seen him either multiquote post or list his thoughts on so many players this early in a game.

you ninjad me lol. i posted this at about 1AM, and I was too tired to read the thread. i had assumed nothing interesting would have happened anyway but normal day 1 fluff... but in hindsight it would seem that i was wrong lol

It's clearly been too long since you all played with Mynd. This is the way he always plays. And half the time it typically gets him lynched day one only to discover he was right about at least one of the people he called out. I find it much more interesting who seems to be latching on to his wild ramblings as an excuse to lynch him.

 

So Mynd's meta is to annoy people with weak arguments to get people voting for him, while he afterwards investigates all the possibilities? Seems to have worked quite well if you ask me.

Mynd isnt making even as little sense to me as he usually does.  however it is building fast. and im wary of that simply because if he IS town and we lose him we lose a strong player and i dont want to do that really quick and on D1 to boot! and just based on his meta when most of us know his meta is crazy anyways!

 

What kind of excuse is it to not lynch Mynd because he is a strong player? This whole game is filled with strong players, a lynch should be based on logic and not because he is liked or whatever. I think you guys tend to excuse his actions too often, if any other player played like he did they would always raise suspicion. 

 

I'm much more interested in how fast this Mynd train has built up. You can bet that there are some opportunistic scum that jumped on there when they saw how quick it was taking off. Seeing as how he's right in the center of it and because I already found Mish's defense of him an obvious protection of a teammate, I'm moving back to Unvote. Vote _Cloud.

 

And you people that have played with him before are suspect as well. Mynd copywrote the whole "Beat the grass to startle the snakes" play. For you all to read more into it than that is FoS-worthy and suspicious.

 

Yeah I was at the center of it because it was directed at me and Mish. I don't know why the others, especially TG, jumped on it too. Either way, I find the reasoning why you voted on me lacking.

Ok I'm just gonna say this to make it extremely clear:

 

Cloud and I will talk outside the game. I am his mentor in the WT SG and it is my job to talk with him and make sure h's doing alright. But we are not talking about this game! We did talk a bit about mafia in general before this game started, since I got assigned to be his mentor just 3-4 days before the game started and we'd both signed up. I checked now and he did indeed say to me it was his first advanced game, so I just misinterpreted it. If we're gonna lynch everyone who are friends outside the game, we might as well just stop this game right now.

Random lynches are dreadful coming from me.  I basically spin a roulette with each of you and you have like a 1/10 chance of dying.  Statistically it should only kill two of you but who knows?  Luckily if it is more than 1 I give a coroner.

 

But you have no need to fear that, you have plenty of time!  Three days and one hour to be precise, it is just something to keep in mind.

For those of you who think the way Mynd has played so far is part of his meta are completely wrong.  Rand, you stated you've only played with him a few times and that I should know his meta.  You are right.  I do know Mynd's meta, going back several years.  

 

However convoluted his schemes are, he doesn't make mistakes.  Yes, his accusations will be wild, but they will be factually correct or at least have the appearance of correctness. 

 

His play in this game is full of obvious fallacies.  Using wrong words, making assumptions on subjects that have already been clarified and blatantly accusing someone of something that hasn't even happened in this game. 

 

This is not Mynds meta.  This is a bag of junk with him hoping others think it is his meta.  My vote stands.

Where is Mynd anyway? This feels like his team told him to lay low and they are going to see if they can divert the town's attention elsewhere. The only way that would be worth it to them is if his role is really valuable to them.

 

Cosmic, initially my vote was because he pushed an extremely weak case like he was starting the game and then went back to spam (with misleading information. Khan is not in new ST film). Also because BG basically dared anyone to put a second vote on him. You can ask verb about me and dares.

 

I do find it extremely odd that Mynd has Such a large and vocal defense team. I think you will find mafia supporting him. I think he is also mafia and like my vote where it is.

 

I was hoping Despo would be the master vamp just for the irony. Then I could be on his case-let.

@ cloud   im not not voting Mynd because he is a strong player. Im not yet convinced that we should lynch him. there isnt enough evidence. Though I must admit Peace just made a very good case.

 

I also said I dont want to lose him if he is town   right now i dont know what he is.

Peace's perspective on mynd is his opinion, not fact. Not saying peace is wrong, but what he said hasnt been proven and cannot be proven because its a issue of play style which cannot be black and white. Each persons actions in each specific game can be subject to broad generalization, but you cant factually state that you know a persons play 100%.

That is true LZM, but you can see tendencies and look for oddities.  I'm actually kind of baffled by his play here.  The Goonies game is a much better example of Mynd being Mynd.
