Peter was a sad man, plagued first by his own village and now by the burdens of knowing his death was imminent.  However, the manner of it was not nearly as he expected.  He ran down the path, pursuing one he was certain was evil, saw the tail of his coat rounding the corner.  Suddenly a panic hit him, the poison.  He had to act quickly, his limbs were rattling and his blood burned from the inside.  With effort he managed to get momentum and swung his body around the corner.  The man was gone!  

 

Peter panted, knowing he may have lost his final chance, and that was when the one tailing him slid his blade into Peter's ribs.  

 

"Call it mercy, my friend."

i have been playing a while des but just didnt realise bussing is one sided. Particularly if its mafia piling on a townie. Seems like the same action to me so i used the word

The term refers to throwing one's teammate under the bus, if that helps with clarity.

I don't think that necessarily follows. The scene doesn't say that "the man" is evil, just the Des thinks the man is evil. Since Des was making a case on Kae, I think it just means that the mod is tailoring his scenes to reflect the game action. I don't think any mod would hint at someone's alignment in a scene and out one of the scum team in their own game. (Not deliberately, at least. My first time modding I had a few moments of thinking I'd done this accidentally.)

I'm a little confused that Peter would be town based on the wiki report on him. Perhaps he really was recruitable. again pure speculation on my part.

That there seems to be no evidence in his report that he was turned(or even in the process of being turned) but it could be he wasn't a vamp yet because he didn't finish dying from the poison. I dunno. But to say Kae is definitely mafia because Despo thought so is flawed logic. Since he was vanilla he obviously didn't have a view or anything like that. The sketchiest thing I remember on Kae was that she failed to post a vote when she was going to be gone through deadline D1

I dunno, the only game I've played with poison was the Hobbit-game and there it was specifially said that the one person who got poisoned, died from poison. I don't know if I'm reading too much into the scene.

Mod Statement: I would never even remotely hint at alignment in a scene.  The scene simply reflects the current state of the game and I had it written out a long while ago.

He was a servant of the Lord's of the castle, no more.  Their work was his work, a most trusted advisee.  He was to watch them, to clean and prepare their bodies, and to dispose of them when the masters were done.  It was not an easy job with the number of deaths lately, but he could not complain. Work was fruitful...

 

 

...Somewhere else in the castle a quite determined and dignified woman was, for lack of a better word, snooping.  She stomped through, looking for anything that might protect this group.  Some had tried to leave the night before.  At the gates they found the body of that one woman's lesser twin, ripped apart and broken.  It had been a sad night, but more importantly it had been a warning.  In this castle you entered through the gates and left by Dracula's will.  They still didn't know why they had been invited even!

 

The woman had all of this on her mind right up until she saw it.  The beautiful Sapphire ornament was placed on it's own pedestal in an alcove with nothing else.  So important, but why?  She was drawn to it, pulled to feel it.  

 

She reached her hand out, her finger slid down, the tip pricked her.

 

In an instant she was changed.  She knew not how, but knew that she always could have been this person.  Perhaps should have been.  Everything felt so alive.  With renewed vigor the woman ran to rejoin the group and share what had happened.  

 

 

This was all to say that Dice has been replaced by Ithillian.  Hope you all enjoyed the scene!

 

 

Also, 12 hours until deadline.  I may not be back by then as this has unfortunately fallen on a date, so anything you submit will be counted until I return, regardless of time.

I'm torn on what to do; my gut says Kae, mainly due to Des' case, but it's very little time left to deadline and both Basel and Dice have higher trains. I'm half delirious with fever and pain meds so I'll check in again in 6-7 hours.

He's been lurking yet states we need to concentrate on the lurkers. He voted at the tail end of both Lynches so far, without having to unvote - which means he apparently couldn't find reasons to vote for anyone for 3 days lol. When asked to say who he suspected he picked an inactive because he wouldn't be challenged by that person - obvious attempt to deflect onto an easy target.

 

Mish is also high on my list ... For various reasons that I will have to remember because I left my scribblings at work.

 

Day one was pretty mental I see. The star wars game was awesome. Thank you for the perfect ending. Dice's play has been pretty poor and he was on my list too - but i am Town.

I can see a Len vote. It is now the third straight day he hasn't put a vote on anyone until the end of day. Even when he has said he was suspicious of LZM(now Tress) he still doesn't vote. I don't think we can get a lynch there in the time left. My Dice vote was in the interest of evening the trains to see if anyone would add some reasons why they wanted to vote for either candidate.

To be honest until I got the the end of the game you felt a bit off to me, especially in your posts with Len. He said something that was right off and then you popped up afterwards and asked for clarity etc. It might be that you saw the same things that I did, but it felt like you were protecting him maybe.

 

But then BG said you didn't have teeth and he seems to know this stuff.

 

Of course BG, Mynd and Ishy could all be Mafia. That would be hysterical.

 

I think Mish just did again what she did before. Said someone was not suspicious or that she suspected someone else - but then said it would be fine to vote for whoever had big trains just cos. Yeah that's one of the things she did earlier.
