Ok after all the back and forth I'm starting to see the point on Mynd.

I'll be sparse this evening too; because of [insert really long explenation about family complications] we're celebrating Christmas with mom-in-law this evening. I'll be on as often as I can, but I don't have the same access I usually have.

 

I'm torn on Mynd, I can see points in both Hoof's and Panda's arguments. But I'm gonna get off my fence now (t's not very comfy to sit on) and vote Mynd

 

 

Alright I am going to have to side with Hoof on this. I dont like Mynds "Lynch me" posts anymore than the next guy and even if he is a Jester ((Which I doubt)) the game wouldnt end.We get alot of info from the Mynd lynch and if he flips mafia instead of town like he says he will all the better.

These were the last three rush votes on Mynd today. Of the three, Len has seemed fairly Townie to me thus far.

 

But lookie at who's involved in the rush. Our good friend Mish is back in the thick of it. Convenient.

 

JLM looks pretty bad here too, especially after a day spent talking about how she never trusts Mynd regardless of his alignment, yet won't commit to a vote until the last pileup. Enables to her to appear slightly Townie by looking as if she's deliberating while not bandwaggoning. Of course, that also makes her fence-sitting obvious to anyone paying attention, and paired with her scummy vote here, creates an interesting pattern. Someone else to look into tomorrow.

 

 

So, I've been trying to understand the cases behind the two trains. I understand the Basel one, which is based on his fight with Rand yesterday and his odd position on the Mynd/Ishy/BG affair. Is this post of Ishy's why everybody else is voting for JLM? I like the connection between Mish and JLM that Ishy's picked up. I wonder if they're trying to active-lurk their way through this.

 

I'm willing to jump on board with this reasoning, but I'll wait for a votecount and for JLM to show up. To tell you the truth, I prefer Basel's train, but perhaps that's just because I had more involvement with him yesterday. I'm feeling uneasy about Dice, too, for his rolefishing and the interesting flop in his position on Mynd. 

 

For now, consider my vote to be hanging over JLM's head.

Why should Ishy's mason claim have affected your view of Mynd's play to the extent that your opinion of the man changed from town to scum so quickly? Are you sure you weren't just trying for an easy lynch?

I find the case on him better than the one on JLM. Note that I have no problem with voting on JLM, I only defended her before because she wasn't active and couldn't explain her reasoning. Now that she is here I took a second look at her case. I understand your guys votes on her, but I really think that Basel is the best option for today. Like I said before, he created a lot of WIFOM with playing on both BG's and Mynd's side. Both Rand and BG voting for Basel without explaining much is also saying something imo. I think that his lynch will get us the most info. 

 

Despo is still alive. BG seems to have also been poisoned. The poisonings confirm that both of them are town, but we need to watch them just in case. This is a vampire game after all.

I would like to test the poison to vampirism mechanic. This will give a certain amount of information about Kae as well since she was the one that pointed out this particular possibility. Admittedly this is pure speculation based on the perceived flavor of the scenes. 

 

Lenlo, my point was that I would expect you to have an opinion about the people that have been active. There has been a fair amount going on. lots of people doing and saying lots of stuff. None of it creates more intrest or suspicion than one person that has been absent?

 

Cloud, what did you notice in the JLM case that led you to see she could be a valid vote even if you did like the Basel case better?

You're reaching, Dice.  Specifically, since Rand cannot contradict you, you can use that as an excuse to vote Basel. 

 

Rand voted Turin first D2, then switched to Basel later.  If he'd had a guilty viewing on Basel don't you think he'd have started out voting Basel and tried to make a case on him?

Even more interesting is that you fail to note that the point when I voted you is when the person I was voting claimed doc, and has yet to be CCed. Why are you so eager to throw suspicion upon a claimed doctor without anyone else counterclaiming?
