Fair ladies and gallant gentlemen, I must apologise for not having been here; skyrim and dinner parties have derailed me. I will try to be better.

Sir Nolder: Why, having ripped into the good Mr. Soy Boyo for voting amegakure without explicitly wishing to lynch him, did thee then park your vote on Leelou simply because it was a train? (I see that the good Song has already raised this point.) Could you please tell me how voting randomly at the start of day one is better than voting with reason at the start of day one? I don't understand your back-and-forth with Song, especially given that Boyo hardly raised a convincing case on ameg in the first place. Did you want to lynch Leelou?

I'm guessing that this is the part that you (nolder) are saying that he got out of order (his false pretense)? I don't think that that question was meant to be read chronologically (maybe it was, it's not how I read it though). I read it as him asking, why, if you were attacking me over the whole amega issue, and you felt so strongly about it, did you not put your vote on me.

That's how I saw it at least. So why should anyone agree with you're assertion that he's wrong if you won't support your claim. Especially since everyone may not have interpreted the situation the same way as you. That and you didn't really even say what he got out of order, just that he got something out of order. Now I've deduced the above scenario from my interpretation of the statements but, only you can tell us what you say he got wrong.

you could be right

if that's the case I'm sure he'll be happy to clarify that

I'm not sure if I said it in this game or not yet, but tomorrow I'm going on a 6 day cruise with my wife, will be very spotty in posting but will try and stop in when I can

Ugh, I apologize for inactivity. I've been incredibly busy setting up my game. I barely ate for two days. I'll be back into gear by tomorrow.

Perhaps my question was a bit convoluted. Boyo seems to have understood it and has framed my question rather more pointily.

In any case, I'm not too interested in the answer, but in his behaviour. I don't see scumhunting; he seems to be actively refusing to engage, rather than otherwise. Instead of replying to Mr. Boyo's question, Nolder deflects it by wondering if I'll clarify it. Why should my clarification be necessary? This kind of behaviour seems designed to turn the town in circles, and so I'm liking my vote.

your clarification is necessary to me because YOUR behavior strikes me as overaggressive among other things

the way in which you posed your question made it pretty clear you weren't interested in my answer but instead of being outright belligerent I figured I'd give you a chance to fix what was incorrect and ask again

now that you've explained yourself I'm happy with continuing to ignore your unnecessary questions

let me know when you're actually interested in discussing things again and I'll be happy to deal with you

I must say I expected many more posts, now that it is more than 30 hours ago since I checked it. Not really much to say, actually. Except that I will UNVOTE, because it turned out to be a misunderstanding.

Welcome, Ledinna!

I'm afraid I'm not seeing too much at the moment either, except this back-and-forth between Nol and Soy. However, the weekend is over, so I'll be back to my normal level of posting

welcome to the game Dinna

uh....meta here....but i have recently thought joke votes irrelevant and a great tactic for scum to delay the beginning of day one. I just felt the need to say these thoughts again. I dont want anyone to think im trying to fly under the radar.

this pings, more because you felt the need to clarify why you wouldn't be joke voting, rather than for your stance on joke voting.

you don't liek joke voting, fine, then just check in. that you felt the need to explain this feels scumtastic to me.

Note: Possible Amega/Nol/Hoof connection (it's only day one though so probably not much to that.)

Ping! for premptive linking of players. i also dislike greatly how he discredits the linking in the same sentence. almost like he's fishing out the idea to see how it's taken.

I assume he means that the longer people joke around and not do anything the more rushed people get to lynch someone, someone who is usually town.

I think you are right, and because of that - UNVOTE.

Ping-a-ding ding ding. i gretly dislike Ley following blindly on this. could be scum trying to fit in.

Placing a vote on someone is not necessarily a declaration of your desire to lynch said person. Votes are vanilla town's way of gathering info. Apply pressure see what happens.

1. I definitely disagree with that

2. this seems like a soft claim...I don't like it

Could you clarify the soft claim statement. I'm not sure what you mean.

Bolded could be interpreted as a Vanilla claim methinks.

the FoS goes both ways.

FoS @ Soyo for the wording, it can be interpreted either way (as a claim or as a statement) and in a game like this you chose your words carfeully because their read into.

adn FoS @ Nol for jumping to conclusions for something that can be used to push Soyo's lynch. seems liek nol was a bit too eager to build a case on Soyo imo

I think sometimes people take advantage of Amega's spelling/grammatical errors and make him out to seem more scummy than he really is

i doubt this, as i'm one of the worst spellers/grammer people on DM and have yet to be attempted to be lynched for that.

i also dislike Nols slight defense of Amega here and in other posts. it's not blatant, but it is there. wonder why Nol is linking himself with Amega so hard ....

I mean, all right, I'll admit that Amega didn't necessarily have to voice her disdain for joke-voting, but COME now--what are you guys doing here? You know, I'm wondering if this whole Amega case is merely a distraction from everything else. There's something not right here with this. All I'm seeing is one line from Amega being blown out of proportion, leading him to utter suspicious words or somesuch and multiple interpretations to the case. My interpretation may sound ludicrous--I simply don't know how to word myself better.

In short: You find Amega scummy. I don't. This is from my perspective. You can choose to agree with me or disagree. Perhaps my opinion will change in the near future.

This part of your post.

First portion is ridiculous. The "Amega case" is not a distraction. There just isn't much else going on! Nothing of note has gone on that has no stemmed from his remark and Boyo's vote.

You yourself are doing more to enlarge the situation then people who are taking part in it.

The last line....doesn't sit well. We know people's minds change in mafia. Don't have to leave yourself a way out by saying you might change your mind in the "near future."

Makes it sound like if it doesn't work out well for whatever plans you have, then you'll vote.

what Ed said.

get your order of events right and ask me again please

Unvote, Vote: Nolder

not negotiating with terrorists

best OMGUS post without a vote yet

You seem a lil eager to be rid of votes leelou?

ditto on this

I actually find it interesting that you didn't engage him more nolder, being aware of your playstyle.

double ditto, i also find it wierd how Nol recated to Panda's vote from the start. metagamming here, but i expected Nol to pull out quotes to prove panda's fos was unfounded. and now once his odd behavoir is pointed out, Nol goes full barrels at Panda.

right now, Nol is pinging the most; he seems to have his hand in all the trains and imo is manipulating them (or attempting to anyways)

oh i want to point this out, but the Nol-Soy exchange feels off and forced to me. i dunno if it was planned, or what; but i dislike the overall feelign it gave me honestly.

This.

And still from the Nold&Pandy -thingy. That the both are on each other's throats all the time, just because of something that could be easily explained, pings me lightly. And if I got it right, Nold didn't even try to explain his behavior, just says to be wrongly accused.

Well, it'll be interesting to see how they're figuring this out.

Enjoy the cruise, Despothera, how fun! And welcome to the game Ledinna.

I'm reading and studying everything that has been said, but since I'm fairly inexperienced, I don't have anything productive to really add at this point.
