I hope you'll have the time of your life.

Liking the greenway references, sorry I missed them

Serious? At the moment I'm not sure why everyone is getting scum vibes from Maw. Maybe I missed something. Can you elaborate?

At the moment though I'm going to Unvote, Vote Poet for distancing from the Des lynch and calling out for a cc.

Although it means little considering my newbie errors in day one I was in agreement with Tiink on this count. While simply voting maw on day one is not enough to call certain scum on anyone the (11?) who voted against maw are under scrutiny. Imma get out my notepad and get to work Style on names.

Until then the most prominent anti-maw voter.......

FoS everyone not voting Maw.

Well that's a bit harsh we still have a whole day.

And you're wasting it.

Who has also made a move against Tiinker whom pointed out the lack of substantial evidence against maw.

But I can see that it may be a 'frustration' vote from his precious talk.

I propose pressure on wombat.

Remote wombat

Pants - Reasoning for voting Des contrasted against the rest of his posts

Locke you suspect half the playing field lol

Do you mean constructing against my screw up posts, the wise cracks or both? I was wanting to unvote my my initial joke vote and wanted to try and find my feet. Tbh I was a little flustered by my edit errors, and just jumped on a passing wagon.

Playing dumb? Seriously? I've got no problem pushing to ensure a non random Lynch, you do it often, I've done it, but to FoS everyone not voting for Maw was odd and I'm just saying Tiinks comment didn't seem out of place... especially when there was plenty of time left.

Tiink's comment expressed a "wait 'til deadline to bring anyone close to lynch" attitude which is a stark contrast to pro-town behavior imo. That doesn't make him scum, but it does warrant one vote at the beginning of day two.

Alright, fair enough if you see it that way.

I'm gonna be MIA for a day or so. My internet is not working well. Will check in if I can.

Also, Vote Poet for the whole trying-to-guess-the-masons thing.

In my defense, well, Maw just seemed like he was being scummy. Trying to protect Des & Turin was weird, and it came off as trying to protect scum-mates. It's too bad he flipped Mason, I've found Mason teams to be some of the most useful town-roles there are. I've only been on a Mason team once, but knowing that 2 other people (in that case) were town was amazingly helpful.

Even though Maw hasn´t played many games he knows better then to protect scum-mates in this way. I still think your vote for him is suspicious.

i'm glad to see Poet, i'm not going to add my vote yet because i feel theres enough on her atm and she's yet to respond

in other news, 2 pings in a row here

Tina, you make a good point about Kae's Maw vote, but I could still go either way on it. My first read of the comment was also that Maw was just trying to be nice, but then I tried to think into it too much and wondered if Maw might have been trying to cover up a partner's slippy scummy behavior... so I can also understand Kae's reasoning. Looking in retrospect, could be scum trying to lay blame though.

For now, as I'm catching up and re-reading I'm going to apply a little more pressure to Poet though since those actions seem more FoS worthy in my book.

Vote Poet

your explination feels off to me BG. sounds like your cya-ing. peoepl are FoSing Sakaea over somethign you did as well, the underlined feels like a premptive measure to circumvent pressure for the same exact thing.

afterall, scum have been known to use a townies reason for wanting to lynch a person as their own. major ping here my friend.

What does everyone believe the root cause of no NK's last night? Were we just lucky that the protectors guessed well or was there some sort of ploy? I can't think of a reason for such a ploy but many of you are more experienced than I am.

I am suspicious of Poet for the body of her actions (hammer vote, mason's line, etc..) and also wombat for his FoS and then Tiink vote. Kae not as much. I will hold off voting for the moment tho. I want to find out what Des has to say.

dude we get that your new, but you need to drop the constantly reminding us. this is pinging majorly, especially since your one of the peopel Poet was trying to associate with Maw as a mason.

also bringing up the NK, while that in itself isn't scummy, it feels like your attempting to move focus off the Poet pressure and onto something else. it's good to try and analyze the NK (or lack of one) to try and get info, but will get more info from pressuring scummy players than guessing what went on behind the scenes.

also, the two pings i've lsited combined are why i find this so scummy, because by "reminding" us your new you give yourself a bit of cover for asking the NK question if the FoS turns to you.

What I don´t like in BG´s post is that he thinks I have a good point about Sakaea. I always get nervous when someone agree with me. lol But I think you bring up a good point about BG, Red. I will keep it in mind.

@Red I'm not really understanding your arguement. I was just saying that I can see the arguement both ways (Tina and Kae) and it isn't enough for me to warrant a vote yet, but still worth keeping an eye on. Don't know what else to say about that. Seems pretty straight forward to me.

Looking back, a few things have stood out to me.

On the Pants thing. He has acted weird the entire game. He could well be a villain, maybe the Joker and he is acting in character. The big problem about him is that now that he has been twapped by the Overlord, He can't post to explain anything at risk of being MK'd. On the flip side of that tho is you could say it is a tactic. I just think he is wacky. I am of course willing to listen to those more experienced.

This just seems odd to me in retrospect knowing that we killed off The Batman and this post came before that. We didn't know other roles than our own at the time. A slip perhaps?

FoS everyone not voting Maw.

Well that's a bit harsh we still have a whole day.

And you're wasting it.

I think that this is the reason for Wombat's vote? Yes? Just want to get that straight. I'm not seeing what is inherantly scummy about what Tiink said. With Maw flipping town, what incentive does mafia have to delay the lynch? Seems like mafia would be more than happy to rush the lynch along.

I agree. I didn´t think Tiinker was scummy.

And I think we have just seen BG´s first "fair enough" in this game. lol

Sorry. I have seen you written it so many times that I´m almost starting to count them...

I didn't even realize it. I used to start off nearly every explanation response post with "Well, okay, but..." and had to physically stop myself from doing that everytime.

Since Ley missed the joke phase and it is not a game unless ye is voted early,Vote Ley but since I know that it is really too late for joking I will...

Unvote

Seriously tho of all the people so far the one I am currently most suspicious of is wombat due to what seemed like bullying to force Maw's lynch and then the odd vote on Tiink for resisting his strong arm tactic.

Vote: Wombat

Heading to work soon, will be able to spend more time this weekend.

Well, in a game with Maw, so VOTE Maw. O, wait, he's dead already. UNVOTE, in that case.

ok. I didn't think about the ramifications of additional knowledge. You guys are right about that.

I guess Maw would be ineligible. I have much to learn.

Unluckily, you are a Shadownie, so you can't. O, wait, we are playing mafia, and not spamming, aren't we?

Now really on game.

What does everyone believe the root cause of no NK's last night? Were we just lucky that the protectors guessed well or was there some sort of ploy? I can't think of a reason for such a ploy but many of you are more experienced than I am.

I can think of three reasons why there was no NK. The first is very easy. Normally, the Doc self-protects on N1. This means that the mafia has hit the Doc. Then, they know who the Doc is, and we are not lucky (because they can set up a lynch against that Doc).

The second, is that the mafia has targeted Des, and that the Doc has protected Des. This, in my opinion, would mean the best, because the mafia can't take any advance of it.

The last one means trouble in the future. Sometimes, the mafia doesn't sent in a NK. Then, once a (normally very experienced) gets "problems" (can't think of a better word right now), he/she claims Doc, and to have self-protected at Night one. The purpose of this is to call out the real Doc. Normally, the mafia thinks a Doc is worth the price of a team member.

It has been a bit quiet today. I hope that not everyone disappears for the weekend.

I'm most active in the weekend.

Not sure who to vote, so I'll leave my vote here for now. I must say I think the Poet train was going too fast, imo. And I also think the Wombat train is a bit weak. Best to wait.
